btw...the smooth away pads were a waste of a money. if you rub long enough you'll get patches of super smooth skin. but nothing you couldn't get in half the time with a new razor.
My mom uses nair all the time, but it doesn't do anything on my legs. I tried veet one time, too, and it gave me a chemical burn - but didn't take the hair off. Go figure

Seriously... I've never used Nair without it resulting in some sort of catastrophe. 1) Chemical burn 2) Fumes causing headache and/or dizziness 3) Fumes causing headache and/or dizziness resulting in a sit-down resulting in a chemical burn.

i can't remember if it was veet or nair, but one of them definitely gave me a chemical burn. luckily i was just testing out an area, and hadn't slathered it all over, but man...painful!
So I went to Target with the intention of picking up bubble wrap and a Sterilite cabinet for my hoop-making supplies and walked out with the intended items PLUS a lovely toiletries bag made from recycled plastic and a pair of C9 by Champion moisture-wicking bike shorts. The bike shorts happen to be like $16.99 in the womens and I happen to be a shortie so...I cheated and checked out the girls section and found the exact same damn thing for $9.99. Woot-woot!
Tip o' the day: Shop in the kids section. Especially if everyone in your town took your size in the women's/juniors section at Target.
^Do that with shoes too! If you wear like an 8.5 or smaller, you can fit into boys shoes. I've gotten a lot of cute sneakers that way, and they are so much cheaper.

Yep! I wear a 6/6.5 in women's and it's always been much easier for me to find sneakers in the boys section and sometimes cute (but not in a little girl way) flats as well in the girls section. I prefer skate shoes for my sneakers and when I managed a shoe store, my employees always laughed because I would get so excited when a new shipment of boys skate shoes arrived.

I got one of the crossbody hobos at an Old Navy outlet last month. I likes it. I think I'll like it more than what I was going to take (a stiff-style messenger bag). Seems like it'll be comfy, although there aren't many pockets. I don't mind a little digging, though.
I'm going to be totally realying on skirts and non-form fitting cotten dresses because a few weeks ago I found out I will be pretty pregnant at bonnaroo this year.

I got that one in orange/red! I used it this weekend and was totally thinking about how it would work as a Roo bag as I had stuffed my faux Crazy Creek, thin blanket, sunscreen, camera, water bottle and one small pouch for lipbalm type stuff and another for my cell phones. Though I didn't do it cross-body and after walking for about an hour, my shoulders definitely hurt and I was wishing I had a backpack.
But I think the large opening makes it much better for finding stuff. I only had to set it down to dig once, usually could manage while it was still on my shoulder.

i always see those bags at old navy and think they're super cute, but they're never long enough. i wear mostly purses that cross your body like that, but i like them to sit around my hip. maybe my boobs are just too big for it, but they always come like, just above my waist.

honestly, at roo i just feel safer using a camelbak backpack. i have so many odds and ends, it's just easier to keep track of everything when there's so many pockets.

I have one of these that I have always used at fests (and just in general). To battle the lack of pockets, I use a few smaller bags to organize. I have a ton of those little cosmetics bags from Clinique gifts and stuff. So in my purse, I'll have my big wallet, then a small bag with chapstick, lipgloss, tampons, etc. (stuff I would normally put in a small pocket in a purse), then another little bag with snacks for a fest, and another with porto-potty stuff (TP, clorox wipes, baby wipes, hand samitizer). It really helps to organze a giant bag.
