Great, I don't want to bring in a ton of illegal stuff but I was hoping to bring a small personal bag. I hope that doesn't get me kicked out. I am going to be paraniod the whole way down.
You think this will cause a traffic problem at the gates if those dogs are barking at every other car?
OK, I'll preface by saying this will be my first Roo so I have no idea how security usually is.
I will say, however, that the article mentions that they'll have two dogs. There will be 90,000+ people coming. How many people do you really think are going to be searched thoroughly and on top of that, how many people are actually going to get one of those two dogs going through their cars. Seems like simple math to me but I've been wrong before...
I wouldn't worry too much. Just be careful. I plan on bringing a bag of bud with me still. Nothing big at all, probably will be about gone by the time I get there. I figure if for some strange reason they catch me they will just take it. That article even says they aren't real concerned with marijuana. Everything else I would want I just rely on getting inside the festival. I agree with Soup about the dogs. Say that the two dogs go crazy over a couple cars. While they are ripping those cars apart hundreds of people will be entering without any dog attention. Just be smart and think positive.
Last year my car search went like this...."mam, do you have any glass containers in there?".."no sir," I replied. "Have a good time". That was all. There is no way that they can take that long searching cars. There is to much traffic, they gotta keep things flowing.
