For those that went last year.....How were the ATM's at dispensing cash? I remember in 04, it was a royal pain in the arse to get any money out. Most of the times the machines didn't work or they were out of cash. Did they remedy this at all last year?
When did you get money out....Thursday? My problem is that my direct deposit will be dropping just before we arrive, on thursday. So I'll only be able to pull out whatever the limit is for the day($300?), most likely at the last gas station stop. But I'm gonna need more than that. I'm hoping it's not gonna be a big hassle on Friday, to find a functioning ATM.

I'm going to have the same issue. How far is the closest ATM outside of roo? If I have to walk to an ATM, I'll do that.

There are ATM's all along the walls right inside What Stage. They are stationed randomly though our Centeroo too. Sometimes they were lots of folks on line....but depending on timing....and heat there may be not a soul!!! We never had a problem with them running out of cash...but it if you start to realize you may need more cash...plan ahead!!!!
its funny so many of us are waiting on that direct desposit on thursday!
I have poor money management, so I will definitely be broke as a joke until Thursday morning! I've saved enough money for gas to get down there and that's about it. Please let the ATMs be working!
I'm in the same direct deposit vote... so I thought. Then I realized that we're chaning payroll providers at work and that check is the first one that comes as paper during the transition period. I flipped out last week when I realized that our checks show up at the office via mail on Wednesday afternoon. Problem is, we're leaving early Wednesday morning.
Fortunately, I've bribed my boss with a bottle of wine to bring my check up to the bank and deposit it for me. Unfortunately, the bank manager at the branch nearest my work won't give me a 100% guarantee they'll put it in right away. They do it like 99% of the time, but a few times I've had to call and bitch them out to get the money to go in right away. So, if you run into me all pissed off on Thursday, you may know why. Let's just hope that all goes well and I can roo without frustration

dude my honkey donkeyg paycheck from last week that i deposited on saturday still doesn't show up on my online banking! alkdfjdlasf i had planned to get my lil bro to pick up my check for this week and deposit it but if my damn money doesn't even get into the bank within a few days whats the use!!?!!?!?? adjflkdsajfals!

yea, me too, i will have about 250 until i can acess my dd thursday at midnight. i am hoping that will be enough, since i am bringing most of my own food/ beer, but i think i will hit up the atm on fri morn to be safe. this 'roo is costing me soooooo much , but i know it'll be worth it!
