Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My lady and I are kinda iffy about a few things we are planning to bring, would like to clear it up amonsgt the Bonnaroo-Yodas of Inforoo!
1. Card table - we want to set it up alongside the camp, is this acceptable?
2. Aside from the tent, can we pitch a screen room/canopy next to the tent?
3. Candles/torches - something to keep bugs at bay?
If you guys could help in clearing these things up, we'd be appreciative. Checked through the FAQ from the site, it just seems vague about certain things.
Also, while I'm at it, anyone have any suggestions for filiming IN Centeroo? Are they extremely secure or are certain cameras allowed?
and Yes - Candles/torches/citronella - not only OK, but a MUST!!!!! The mosquitos in TN will pick your azz up and carry you back to thier lair!
You rnot supposed to bring video cameras into centeroo, but you can get by with it if you play it cool! Your just not supposed to be taping the performances!
The wife and I have been every year and have NEVER had a problem with biting bugs. Grasshopper like creatures mostly, but nothing else. Certainly never mosquitos.
As for the screen room/canopy, if you are in GA you should have room to do it, just get it all set up FAST. Space is quite limited and fills in pretty quickly. If others around you don't have the room, make some new friends and allow them to hang out under yours. Better yet, get everyone in your area with a canopy to put them all together and make one huge shaded area!

I'm going to bring one of those small folding picnic tables. I'm also bringing a screen room (10x10 feet) and that should be fine too. They are kinda anal about the video cameras and stuff but if you're talking about one of those digi cameras that has video capabilities (I have one that shoots still AND video) then you should be perfectly fine, I've never had a problem getting that in there.
You could pack as much stuff as your car will fit actually.

Just think we could come out with a whole line of "Roo Funk" products! We've got Roo Funk incense, Roo Funk bug repellent, maybe a little Roo Funk air freshener thing for your rearview mirror, the possibilities are endless! Everyone needs to bring bottles to capture the funk essence and we'll need a snappy slogan like "Be festive, get funky - Roo Funky!" We'll all get rich, I'm sure!!
