I have a 2-burner stove that uses the 16.4 propane bottles. I haven't had it long enough to be able to tell how much propane is actually being consumed when I cook. How many bottles do I need for the weekend? How many spares should I pick up? I have three bottles right now and they're all full. The guy at the store told me that for a 4-day weekend I should pack 3 bottles, but that doesn't tell me anything really. I'm probably going to use it for 20 min about 2-3 times a day. [glow=red,2,300]HELP![/glow]
I have a 2 burner stove, and I've brought 2 canisters to each Roo. I have never actually exhausted the first canister on that weekend. 3 should be plenty
2 should be enough.when i was doing a lot of camping a few years back i could cook 3 meals aday for 3 days and 1 was enough, but i would bring 2 to be safe

Great, thanks. This is a big help. I just had that feeling that if we ran out of fuel and couldn't cook (for two), it would suck bad.
