Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is my first time taking it, but I think I read you can pay cash (I think it was on the way back to the airport, I guess some people's rides fall through?) if there is enough room and they are not all booked up. I'm not sure about from the airport to roo. I think the safest thing to do though, would be go to the travel part of the bonnaroo.com site and get an e-mail address of the company that runs the shuttle and ask them so you know for certain.

How far is the Nashville airport from the site? $50 sounds a little steep considering how much people will pay for the ticket in to the festival and the ticket to get on a plane to come to the festival.
The Nashville airport is about 30 minutes from where I used to live in Murfreesboro, which is on the way to Manchester. I would guess it is at least an hour from the airport to Manchester.

I google-mapped it and it says its about an hour and 15 minutes. (google maps is usually pretty close). It looks like one big highway.
I think $50 is a bit expensive. I don't have any other options though, so i guess this will have to do. I guess since they know they can charge this much and people are willing to pay this much they can... kinda sucks.
Greyhound should stop by the airport..it did the last time i went through there..call up and ask..if so it will cost you $28-30 round trip. You might even get a bus to where ever the bus picks up..worth a shot and cheaper.
yeah i'm used to cabs so i guess that's why i'm thinking it's not that expensive... i mean from my campus to the airport is a 45 minute drive and it's at least $50 each way. i thought it said the ride was going to be about an hour and 45 min, but maybe they were allowing for bonnaroo traffic?
i took the bus last year and it seemed like a flash. you get the map, magazine and bracelets at the airport, and the magazine/program gave you something to do. not to mention 40+ other people all pumped for the roo. i suppose it was just over 2 hrs, you do get stuck in traffic no matter what they say. if you are flying, i cant see a better way of getting there. 50 isnt that expense, as a taxi would be close 100 each way for that distance, minus the experience of everyone else on board. i reccomend the shuttle, but we are driving this year, just because i want some luxury of a big campsite. hope that helps

yeah, I'm actually looking forward to my time on the shuttle this year. from what i hear, they're big, nice, air-conditioned coach buses, right?
that is so sweet that we get the schedule/program thingy to look at on the bus ride and we don't have to wait till we get to the gates... yeah i know they release the schedule online, but the foldy thing with the map just makes is so much more real and exciting
yea, coach bus, comfy. just remember, whatever you put underneath the bus, you cant get to until you at the fest, any snacks or what not. and we had a real chill bus driver, it was nice. he let people off and on since it was so slow
