are there any weird beer/liquor sales laws in Nashville/TN that we should know about? Can you buy beer in grocery stores or do you need to go to a liquor store or something weird like that? Is it easy to find good beers in the Nashville area?
By the way, by good beers, I mean... you know... good beers. Not Budweiser, Miller products.
Don't know specifically in Nash., but in TN you can buy beer at the grocery store and gas stations, you can get wine/liquor at package/liquor stores (which are closed Sun, but that shouldn't matter for 'roo). In Knoxville, the beer selection is pitiful, not sure how it is in Nashville.

In Tennessee beer can be sold until 3am. Beer sales won't begin again until 8am, unless it's Sunday... then beer can't be sold until after noon. If you're coming from Nashville and want to find some decent brews, stop by Total Beverages in Murfreesboro. It's just off the interstate... more info here: www.ratebeer.com/Places/ShowPlace.asp?PlaceID=5066
You won't find wine or liqour in grocery stores around these parts ;] Like it was mentioned above, they're found in package stores. Most are open until 11pm. Package stores are closed Sunday, but if they keep their normal hours Bean's Creek Winery, in Manchester, open's after 1pm on Sunday and stays open till 5 or 6 I think.
If you drink anything other than Bud or Bud light, GET YOUR BEER BEFORE YOU GET ANYWHERE NEAR MANCHESTER It was hell trying to find any import beer around Bonnaroo last year, Your best bet is stopping at a Farm Fresh or something at least 60 miles before you get there. -Brian
