The information was good and I followed the link to find a dry ice supplier in Manchester. There was none listed. Any suggestions for purchasing dry ice on the way to roo? I'm coming from the south.
I'm still not sure if we will use dry ice as it's just one more hassle on the way out of town, plus I don't want to deal with frozen beer and Mt. Dew. We used a 5-day cooler last year and it was fine, but it was too large (it took up the entire back seat), so we'll probably get a smaller 5-day cooler this year.
go with the 5-day cooler. and open it as little as possible. use one cooler for long term stuff like frozen food and BLOCKS of ice. use the other for frequent use, like beers and water. youd be surprised how well this technique works. if you do it correctly, you wont even need to buy a single extra cube of ice for the entire 5 days. trust.

kemosabe is 100% right. We did a 5-day cooler full of straight ice and a case of frozen water bottles last year and only openend it to refill the main cooler. Works like a charm (especially if you keep it in the shade).
