i've been lurking on this board since 04, but i think this may be my first actual thread...not that it matters, as i'll probably continue to lurk
anyways we were debating whos car to take this year and since we live so far away (865 miles!) gas is a big issue. So the nerd inside me made a spereadsheet to figure out how much it'll cost to take each car there and back, and i thought i'd share it with everyone:
just put in your MPG, distance to bonnaroo, and gas price and you'll know how much to put aside for gas...
of course if you're only a couple hundred miles away it probably doesn't matter, and i envy you, well for the short distance, not the politics, guns, war on drugs, blah, blah, blah...
"Man and his deed are two distinct things...a good deed should call forth approbation a a wicked deed disapprobation, the doer of the deed, whether good or wicked, always deserves respect or pity as the case may be. 'Hate the sin and not the sinner' is a precept which, though easy enough to understand, is rarely practicsed (sic), and that is why the poison of hatred spreads in the world." -Ghandi

try living in canada; i paid 1.10 a liter for gas today (down from about 1.25)... that's like 3.75 a gallon! Gas seems cheap anytime i'm in the states...
