My husband and 3 of our friends are going to be in an RV in the Handicapped Accessible area and I am wondering where it is located, is there any shade and how crowded it is?
Does anyone know any info on this and what is the difference in location from RV parking and the handicapped area...I don't want to take up room in the handicapped area if RV parking is just as close as the handicapped area. I just have problems walking long distances because of my back so if they are the same distance from Centeroo then I will just stay w/ the RV parking...
I have trying looking at the maps but I can't really see where anything is except BFE...I don't want that! Holy Crap, I would be dead by the end of day 1.

ya you can get put pretty far away in the rv section. i think that the handicapped section is a much safer bet. also i havent been to the handicapped section but im guessing they probably have a better sytem for getting to centeroo then the mud filled maze that is most of bonnaroo.

Thanks for the info so far, I was wondering has anyone ever been in there or walked by it? Is it in the shade? Someone told me there were trees there and I am trying to figure out just how hot it will be? I am from Florida so it gets pretty friggin' hot down here...Any comparisons? Any breezes? Just trying to get myself ready for the masses and the heat...Is it really crowded everywhere or just up front? OK, enough questions for now

I've found very little shade in the campgrounds -- most the shade is manmade (people bringing tarps, etc.). There is some more shade in Centeroo (all the tent stages, obviously, and some other shaded areas). There is no shade in the crowd at the two big stages. Most everything is un-shaded, as it has to be to allow them to fit everything/everyone in.
There are some breezes, but obviously Tennessee is pretty far inland, so they can be few & far between at times. I live on the coast on South Carolina -- we've got oppressive heat at times, but the breeze is pretty reliable here. However, it's much less humid in TN than it is here, so it's sort of a trade-off.
As far as stages being packed, it's generally a crap shoot. Things are always more packed up front than in the back, but you've got an opportunity to get upfront at any point during a setbreak, previous band, etc. and spread out as needed.
