Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
At a number of fests recently I’ve seen people with bicycles riding between campsites and shows. Are bikes allowed or even practical in the camping areas of roo?
ummm I don't know if they're allowed, but I wouldn't recommend it. I mean, first of all, everything is grass, dirt (moreoften mud) and generally not ideal bike riding surfaces. Secondly, I don't know if the pathways, what with the drunkards (or otherwise intoxicated persons) and all, are very condusive to bike riding. Furthermore, when you get to centeroo (where all the action is), you hafta go through a little checkpoint and I'd venture to say they won't let you take your bike in there. Even if your bike was allowed in centeroo, you'd look pretty foolish riding it around, and it probably wouldn't do you much good anyway. So I'm going to go with, no, bikes are not practical for bonnaroo.

Nope, nothing that goes faster than walking is allowed. Not practical either, somewhat like riding a bike through a mall on xmas eve, it may be fun, but someone's gonna get hurt.
;D ;DI dont think they are allowed, but every year I see some idiot rolling along. I dont know how they sneak them in, but there is just so many people walking it would be hard to ride. Everyone I have seen were sooooo high and the bikes were like all beat up just kinda zig zagging all over the place.... I think it would be way too much work to do.....Heck I had a hard time walking at times, because I was a little loopy and so was the rest of the crowd...I sure cant wait to get there....... ;D ;D
