Has anyone ever tried ClimaCool Under Armor shirts? I wear one to the gym and it keeps me cool. Sort of. Has anyone ever worn one in an outdoor, 95 degree and humid situation?
A friend of mine in the Army wore one in Iraq and Afghanistan and said that it worked wonders and everyone in his platoon wore one as well. Looking for any other opinions.
under armor works really well, for some reason i have never bought a new set after losing mine, but i used to wear it all the time while backpacking in the desert and it really made it a ton more comforatable!
Both Under Armor and ClimaCool stuff work great. I wore them daily when I ran XC in college, and I still wear them when I run. I actually brought mine to Roo last year but decided I didn't want to walk around in a skin tight shirt all day.

Where can you buy these? I have never heard of them. They sound like a good investment...how much do they run? Sort of off subject is a product called Chillow. It is an insert for you pillow that keeps it cold constantly like it is air conditioned. I know several people that have them and swear by them. You used to be able to buy them at Walgreen's but I think they stopped carrying them. I believe the only place you can get them now is online. They are about $25. Check em out.
al things considered they are reasonably priced...if you get a good shirt it will last years, unless you decide that the skin tight shirt look makes you sexy, and you turn your under armor into a daily piece of apparel
those army uniforms look like they would be hot as hell in a desert, thick long sleeve jacket and all. are they not as hot as they look or does it just suck?

They're pretty damn hot...but it's only really bad when you have all of your gear on. You get drenched in sweat from all of the heavy gear, but you take it off and you're bone dry in about 10 minutes because it's so hot, not a speck of humidity though.
