hell no i would have to disagree..... if you are going to take a yonger friend/sibling take them to roo... its nearly impossible to get into trouble, everyone is extremely nice and helpful and if they are going to do it they might as well do it right, no offense but i would say that someone over 40 not wanting to hang out with 15 year olds is not a good reason for 15 yearolds not to come ( i would argue that it would be more of a reasoning for 40+ year olds to not go to springbreak) and id have to say you should have expected that at springbreak in florida, which is definetly somewhere i wouldnt send my teenager, but bonnaroo is cool
not trying to bust yer balls at all... just my thoughts

I don't know what kind of parents would let their 15 year old go to a music festival like Roo by themselves, anyway. All the drugs and sex and yumminess and whatnot. I know if I were a parent, I wouldn't let my kid go, I'd probably take them... in which case, I'd be watching him like a hawk. Which would suck for the both of us, but - I suddenly lost intrest in this post.

i would much prefer them to go to bonnaroo alone then springbreak in daytona.. besides whats wrong with sex drug and yumminess, most teenagers are participating in it anyways at least at roo they wont get locked up for it
that being said my son wont be going to any festivals without my supervision until he is 17

So 70K people at the roo this year, how many of them are checking out the "fun stuff"? I've already chimed in about the under 18 thing. From what I read roo is a pretty safe place for people to play. If you have a very clear open understanding with anyone younger that you are traveling with it might be the best of place. (the concern I had earlier was with youngsters who WERE NOT traveling with you). I'm surprised at the number for friends that have young people (14 - 21) that are not really all that straight with them. Young people need people then can be truthful with, since they are making real decisions about drugs and sex. At some point older people need to really be OK with the individual decisions being made so they can really be available to help shape those decisions.
For years I used to sell High Definition cameras to broadcasters. Now I do Production Management for films and documentaries. At this very moment I'm taking time to build two bathrooms for the local community theater.
a ganja goo ball is a ball about the size of a baseball or softball and it is sugarsmacks(i think.. one of those types of cereal like that)stuck together into a ball with ganja peanut butter....they are really good but i dont really know that they mess you up much...hard to tell with all of the other smoking that goes on how effective the goo balls are...
