My personal experience...yes (fun and quiet)...because you don't want to disturb the neighbors. I must say that I have heard some folks enjoying their late afternoon activities with the sound on though.
My boyfriend and I are total nympos(I know tmi) we only did it twice at roo and I thought I was getting heat stroke it took like an hour to recuperate. the 2nd time we decided to macguyver the car and make it a suitable a/c'd love bungalow by putting towels/blankets up. in a nutshell mid coitus the effing blankets began to fall. my advice save all those pent up love juices for home.

I've only read through 26 of 306 pages of this thread and it's easily the most hilarious one I've found so far! Never done sexy time at 'Roo, but who knows what will happen this year. Even if I'm not planning on it, I always carry condoms with me in case any of my fellow 'Roo-mates feel the urge. They actually came in handy for a neighbor of mine in '08.
09 was the year i decided to experiment with sex at roo and after way too many uncomfortably hot experiences in my tent we ended up just being "those people" during the closing Phish set sunday night in the middle of the field. I don't suggest it just because looking back I wish I could apologize to anyone that had to try and act like nothing was happening. Also, just to clarify, it was with my gf at the time so don't label me as a manwhore or anything haha.
