My friends and I are considering taking an RV this year. Is it worth it? The only thing that I don't like, besides possibly money cots, is that this year they are placing the RV's in their own section. I prefer being with the campers, myself.
It would be great if you could swing it. Just so you know the RV were seperate in previous Roo's as well but there was no extra charge and it was kind of a half ass send all the rvs that way depending on the entrance thing. We have gone tent all previuos times and plan to do so again. however, we were lucky last year to be extremely close to centeroo and not to far from us was a Rv area which had a nice location and was really part of gA . that being said i have a feeling that may be changed due to the growimg amount of rv's year to year and the RV passes availible this year. all i can say is the spot was prime last year. I would use the email on roo's website they usually respond with info regarding your questions!
We camped the first year, and took a pop-up the second year. We really enjoyed the pop-up. having a place to go and cool off was a god-send. Plus most campers will run a fridge off propane so you can keep your sensitive food stuff safe. I don't know it's just my opinion, but, having a bed to lay on at night with a little cool air keep me in the game all weekend!
If you can pull it, financially, it's definately worth it. We used tents last year, but we had friends, just a hop skip and jump away, that had an RV. I think that thing pretty much saved my life on Fri. afternoon, after the Wilco set. I stumbled to thier RV and cooled down in the AC. I can't say enough about air conditioning. Did I mention the AC?

There are a bunch of different RV spots. I was parked pretty close to the back gate of centeroo last year and the RV's that came in the same line with us were very close to the gate. You will be in your own little section but you will be close to the campers.
