This will be my first Bonnaroo and I am totally stoked. But I am curious as to how they set up your camp sites. I will want to be with my car, I am just wondering how much space we get, how they are set up or anything that might help me get a better picture.
to clear it up....fluffhead you kinda made it sound like you HAVE to use the camping only area. (i think thats how teki took it) this area is a first come first serve basis...and is the closest you can capm to centeroo. from what i understood off the official site (and this could be wrong) you still have to follow the regular stream of traffic and park your car where you would normally. there is no designated parking area for this campsite. im pretty sure on this. feel free to prove me wrong though.
everyone else will park next to their car. you will have about 10 ft by the width of your car to set up camp. but this is not set in stone. it all depends on your neighbors and whether you are in front or behind your car. if you get to camp behind your car your best bet is to get out right away and lay your tents and tarps out before they start with the next row of cars. this will make them have to scoot that next row back a few feet...giving everyone more room. i also recommend working with your neighbors (if you dont mind making new friends) we came up with some great shade combining all out canopies and tarps last year! good luck.... ~Steph
i read that over and sound like my mother...not trying to preach...just want to help. ;D

If you get parked a long way from the primitive, it may not be worth the effort, especially if you have to make multiple trips to lug all your stuff. One man's opinion.
If you are caravaning it in(ie I will be with the car either in front or behind me) we will be able to camp together right?
As long as you come in the gate together, they will place you with the others in your caravan... they ask at the gate if you are with anybody. If you come in separately there is not a chance in hell you will be together.
My friends & I are driving down in an RV, but a few of us are sleeping in tents. Does anyone know if we'll be able to set up camp beside the RV, or will we have to camp elsewhere? Thanks!
