Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
From what I read on Bonnaroo's site, it says that they will be parking the RV's together. No hookups or anything like that, and that they will be parked near the entrances, which I assume is pretty far away from Centeroo (This is my first year). I have a question if anyone knows....Are we allowed to bring generators for the RV's?
I haven't been to the roo in an RV but I would think generators are allowed. I heard some running on RVs parked next to us last year. And last year we were fairly close to the interstate entrance and we were not far at all from Centeroo. Just a 5-7 minute walk.

Most RVs that you rent will come with a generator. Just keep an eye on your usage because you'll have to pay for every hour that you use it when you return your RV!
Anybody know if we can set up tents next to the RV? We've got a bunch of people traveling with us -- too many to stay in the RV. We want to caravan down and stay together.

I'm in the same position. The wife and I have spent all spring lovingly repairing and restoring an old pop-up camper to use as our tribe's base of operations, but most of the crew are still going to set up tents. (Can't put 10 bodies in a five-person camper, after all...)
I wrote to the Bonnaroo information address a month or more ago and asked but haven't heard anything back.
If someone else writes and asks--and gets a response--could you please post it here?
They are not strict at all with you guys camping by the Rv's or anywhere else for that matter. All they want to you to do is respect your neighbors and not take up too much of their space. This is left up to you and your neighbors, not the festival directors. You will have no problem setting up 5 tents next to your RV and still having an outside living room set up too.

Thanks Timochee!
I remember it being that way last year, but was concerned this year because of the mention on the official site about a 'special area(s) for RVs'. I didn't want to get separated from the gang because they'd changed the way they're doing things this year.

We're in the same boat...four of us are coming in an RV and two local friends are driving in and camping. We assumed that the campers would come to us, unless they got extremely good parking.
Our group all have tents, including a cool one that attaches to the back of our Honda Element, but my sis is considering borrowing a pop-up trailer. We were wanting to avoid the RV section and all be together in the regular camping section. I emailed Bonnaroo a month ago w/no response. Suggestions, anyone?
I'm not positive, but I think the main reasoning for an RV section was to avoid RV's getting stuck in the mud like last year. If this is the sole reason, I would imagine they wouldn't put a pop-up in the RV section unless you requested to be there..... Again, I'm not positive.
