With it being summer and the draft about to begin, I wasn't sure on when to start this but I figured we could at least take the time to really shape up the seeding and whatnot.
I went ahead and made a preliminary list of 64 songs. I had a hard time balancing some of the early and old stuff and also how much of The Wall should be on there (basically all of Dark Side is lol). Gonna page sang_xcx to help me out here cause he probably knows the early stuff better than I do. I also had trouble differentiating my personal favourites and what belonged on here so I tried to shed my bias as much as possible.
Please suggest any additions or subtractions to this and feel free to make your own list if you think is way too off.
See Emily Play Arnold Layne The Nile Song Cirrus Minor Biding My Time Astronomy Domine Interstellar Overdrive Bike Let There Be More Light Set Controls for the Heart of the Sun Atom Heart Mother Summer 68 Fat Old Sun One of These Days Fearless Echoes Obscured by Clouds Burning Bridges The Gold It’s in the… Wot’s Uh the Deal Breathe (in the air) On the Run Time The Great Gig in the Sky Money Us and Them Any Colour You Like Brain Damage Eclipse Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5) Welcome to the Machine Have a Cigar Wish You Were Here Pigs on the Wing 1 Dogs Pigs (Three Different Ones) Sheep In The Flesh? If Shine on You Crazy Diamond 1-5, Welcome to the Machine, Have a Cigar, and Wish You Were Here aren't the Final Four then this whole exercise has been a colossal waste of time.
Which is what some would say I was doing the 10,000 times I listened to that album in college--a collossal waste of time.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Things I think should be included, many of them because they are on live releases or were performed by Nick Mason on his recent tour. I figure if the band members thought they were important we might as well take a look:
Green is the Colour Point Me at the Sky Shine (6-9) A Great Day for Freedom Mademoiselle Nobs (lol) Vegetable Man If When You're In Lucifer Sam Remember a Day
Need to look into some of the later stuff. I think it's good to take our time with this one. It's one of the board's favorite bands, but none of us are claiming to be experts on the entire catalog.
I have a long history with the Wall and saw a lot of it performed tonight at Brit Floyd (I'll write more on that later) but I think some of the Wall songs can probably get trimmed. Not to say they're filler, but because it's such a conceptual album some of the tracks aren't getting put on playlists by themselves, if you know what I mean?
I love the two from seeing Roger and Lucius do them but idk that we need Vera and Bring the Boys Back Home on there. Those are almost one song taking up two slots. Right now there are 16 Wall songs or something and that doesn't feel right to me.
I'd rather have Green and the latter part of Shine on there than some of those Wall songs, for example.

Colossal waste of time or colossally wasted time?
I love Wish You Were Here, but I think the would-be criticism is overblown since there is so much quality material beyond it. I generally don't click these kinds of threads but got roped in when I saw Pink Floyd. For me it would be:
The Narrow Way (not on the list)
Dogs
Welcome to the Machine (I'll give you that)
4 (? - Set the Controls? Astronomy Domine? Saucerful? Granchester Meadows?)
