Noob here...but is there any reason that VIP can't go in on Wed morning before GA? Or even an early entry window on Tuesday for VIP? I realize that they have to use the same road to fill a GA section, but I don't understand why they don't have an early window in VIP since it is soooo expensive. They can still do VIP on Thursday, but give VIP an opportunity to come early if desired...please?

MY guess is because they are actively using the roads that VIP come in on to get stuff set up still on Monday and Tuesday, usually still early on Wednesday. I only know this from years of volunteering and seeing it all in action. It is kinda crazy to see how not set up at all the place is on the Sunday before and watch how quickly it all comes together in 3 days.

Yeah. It has been posted before about one of the reasons for the Pod 1 quarantine was that Bonnaroo was concerned about foot traffic on that stretch of access road overnight as it was still being used by heavy equipment.
so basically you drive in as you arrive? that's pretty neat. 9th Roo, 1st time VIP.
yeah you just cruise right in. pay close attention to anyone directing traffic, at various crossroads you may need to pause briefly. but once you get to the tollbooth at most you wait for like a car or two to get searched before you get up there.
