Trying to buy for a particular section for the Citi presale, but it just gives me the "find the best seats on the map" nonsense. Is there no way to just choose a section or seats on the map?
Edit: either tickets sold out super fast or TM is just messing up.
Edit 2: this Citi presale sucks. It's only giving me tickets for sections right next to the stage, which I'm assuming won't be ideal vantage points to see the entire production.

I decided to try just for shiggles and it's not even letting me select seats. Did you have to put in a code or something?
edit: couldn't figure it out for Columbus, but I got a 16th row floor seat for Houston... UGH! Why won't I be in Texas next summer?!

I just bought middle section floor seats, Row W for $222 after fees.

Around $90 after fees in Tampa, not too shabby. It looks like the Citi presale only had certain sections opened and frustratingly won't let me pick a specific section, so I'm just going to wait until Friday.
Yeah I could ev had 4 seats front section on the floor through the presale for Sunday's Chicago show but couldn't spend that money. There's $20 in fees added on at the end, I'm not paying $275 for a ticket. Opted for 5th row in the 300 level with a nice view. $100 after fees. I feel like if there's any show that's cool to chill in the back a bit and take everything in, it's this show.

This couldn't have been announced at a more opportune time after having my MIND BLOWN by Waters' set at Desert Trip.
Having said that, two Toronto shows on weeknights with very high-priced tickets means I am totally waiting until the secondary market plummets a year from now and then I'll scoop some nice seats below face.
On a sidenote, after splitting Roger Waters' set at Desert Trip between GA and the PIT, I kiiiiinda think the best seats might not be the closest ones? Give me the back of the lower bowl and dead center and I'll be a happy man.

Think aftermarket prices will definitely drop? I'm very much on the fence about buying now or waiting.

No joke. $100 for nosebleeds is crazy. Makes the awful sting of the Desert Trip fest passes drastically dropping below $200 hurt so much more.

Floor seats in Chicago were $250 a piece before fees. That's insanely expensive, but I bought tickets anyway. I don't see the resell market selling for less in Chicago, as these were the prices that were charged last time he came through Chicago.

The only tickets I can even access in this presale for Tampa are seats hugging the side of the stadium. Gonna try my luck for picking seats in-person at the venue on Saturday.

Can't speak for all markets but for my show (Toronto), there's no chance demand will be as high as promoters think. Even right now, four hours into the presale, you can still pull awesome seats in all price ranges. As big as Roger Waters (and Pink Floyd) is, I think two weeknight arena shows is the kiss of death to the secondary market. The Who were in the exact same situation earlier this year, with two shows at the same arena, and primo lower bowl tickets (face of almost $200) went for as little as $20 in the week leading up to the show. Last time Roger Waters came to town, he played the SkyDome (capacity 55K+) and didn't even come close to selling it out. I picked up an awesome pair on the floor below face on the day of the show. The secondary market in Toronto can kill ya, but in cases like this, it can be your best friend.
I'm excited to see the setlist from the first show. I'm venturing to guess it's Dark Side heavy (themed?), which would be amaze balls.
Yea, I actually appreciated him saying in interviews it'll be basically 75% old stuff and 25% new stuff. I'm still not sure whether to try for Nassau Coliseum or Barclay's but I definitely want to try for a few tix tomorrow
