Carlos Santana has albums from Abraxas (a Demon) to Kidjo's Djin Djin (a Demon) and a song called Hoy es Adios (Goodbye). Carlos Santana is the name of the Antagonist in Delta Farce.
That said, if you're guessing a headliner, see yourself out.
Let's get this out of the way. It would be cool if people just picked up on this and it didn't have to be repeated over and over.
The odds of a headliner being a Rooclue are almost zero at this point. They haven't had one in the clues in five years. So keep your bad Radiohead guesses to yourselves. Nobody appreciates them. Thank you.
The past 2 years there have been 12 clues each but they were rolled out in very different manners. In 2014 it took about 6 weeks to present (2/week if I recall properly) whereas last year they banged them out daily and the lineup dropped within 2 weeks. Has there been any indication what days we get clues this time around? If we get one today that may suggest a Tuesday/Friday schedule but assuming there are 12 once again we still may be more than a month away from the lineup. Thoughts?

There are 10 this year. (The first clue on Instagram was captioned 1 of 10.) I'm not counting the bonus clue in those 10, assuming it is indeed a bonus. No indication of days they'll be released.
I had assumed two per week also to keep on track with a lineup release the second week of January, but we'll see. Figuring Coachella releases the first week of January, I don't think there's much incentive for Roo to wait much longer after that (unless something major and unexpected is coming together late).

I want clue 3 to be Godspeed You! Black Emperor so bad, but it's not a perfect connection to the clue and requires some leaps of faith. But four out of six clues so far have been direct references to the band's name, Lucius and Jason Isbell being the exceptions. That's how I'm looking at clue #3 and GYBE is the best guess I've heard IMO.

Do GYBE do festival gigs? The projections are such an integral part to their performance but I feel that may be compromised in an outdoor setting. Also festival set lengths seem like they would only offer the opportunity to put in like 5 or 6 songs before their time is up. I'm not at all opposed to them playing just not sure it is very likely.

first ever cinema tent set obv
Yeah...After watching some videos of live shows it would clearly be tough to pull off literally an old film projector not in a theater. Wouldn't say its impossible but it would have to be after dark with a unique setup. I hope its happening somehow, but I don't see why they'd choose Bonnaroo over Bridgestone unless Bonnaroo dumps a truckload of money on them or something.
There is a precedent for short set lists in terms of number of songs...Swans played like 5 songs when they were there two years ago.
When your songs are 15 minutes long, it's hard to play a lot of them
Precisely why I did not wanna see them open fer NIN a few years ago. But I would be all over a GSY!BE set at 'Roo! Hopefully it'd be a better slot than Explosians In the Sky in what...2013?

Yeah, EitS was 2013 overlapping The Strokes, Beirut and Robert Plant. Still one of the worst conflicts in my ten years of Roo.
