In the spirit of the holidays, positivity, and giving back to the local community that has hosted us for almost 15 years, I've put together a fundraising drive for Haven Of Hope, a local 501(c)(3) public charity located in Manchester, Tennessee that serves Coffee County and the surrounding counties. I was hoping that we, the Inforoo community, can come together and see what we can do for a good cause. This drive will last through December 31st, and we'll start the new year off on a positive note with our total amount donated.
The Haven of Hope services provide emergency and community-based support to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Their emergency services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, emergency food & clothing and coordination of transportation to safety. In 2014, Haven Of Hope provided 3,822 responses to crisis calls. and 17 victims in immediate danger were provided safe shelter. Also, 1,678 victims received direct support/systems advocacy services, 2,418 hours of individual counseling/support group sessions, and 418 order's of protection assistance. 96% of Haven of Hope clients obtain outreach services prior to attempting to leave.

Each donation is its own individual transaction through JustGive.Org, but doing it through the donation page, (www.justgive.org/inforoogivesback) we'll have the ability to see how much that us in the Inforoo Community can collectively donate. I set the goal at $1000 just to have a number there but I've never done this before and I don't know what to expect; however in reality, any amount is a good amount.

Happy Monday Inforoo! Tis the season for Roo Clues, speculation, and lineup rumors, but its also the season for Inforoo to give back to the local community in Manchester that has given so much to us by making a small donation to Haven Of Hope.
