Hello guys/gals, It has been a while since I last visited inforoo. I love seeing all the familiar s/n's and reading thoughts and opinions from this crowd again, its kind of nostalgic for me.
I'm going to go ahead and get right down to it;
I have been recording and mixing songs at a rate of nearly 150 songs per year.
It has been awesome to work with so many talented artist. I consider myself lucky that i have been able to make a living doing something I love.
Sadly, due to a sudden loss of local clients; the studio that I have been working out of can no longer afford to staff me for full time employment.
However, I am now in a position where I can use the studio whenever the schedule is open, and being that things have slowed down, I have quite a lot of low cost studio time available to me. (I'm talking only 20$ per hour!)
My hope in posting this thread is to reach out and find artists, I know inforoo is loaded with talented people and I assume that this is a great place to look for out of town clients.
As much as I need money to help pay the bills; I am offering a good deal for anyone looking to have a professional engineer mix their songs at a very low cost.
If you are a singer, songwriter, band, artist, or know of anyone who is, I would love to communicate with you.
I am available for all types of audio work, I am certified in the use of Protools and have studied radio electronics extensively, I am what you would consider a gear head when it comes to recording/mixing gear.
I can edit and mix any style of music that I have come across and have never once let a client leave the studio unhappy.
My main hope with this post is to find artist who have already recorded their songs but can't seem to make them sound professional through mixing.
I am willing to provide industry-standard quality mixes of any type of music for the lowest rate you'll find from someone with my knowledge.
I am sorry if this post has been redundant or convoluted.
If you or anyone you know may be interested in my offer, please, don't hesitate to send me an E-mail at:

Thanks for your time inforoo!
I plan on returning for my fifth roo in the next couple of years and hope to meet some of y'all when I do so.
I wish the best of luck to you as well Dan; Its a hard career to pursue.
I am having the hardest time finding anyone interested in a proper mix, it seems as if every band/artist I've come across recently has a very "I know what I'm doing and its great" mindset when it comes to the production of their records.
Im not claiming that I know whats best for any band without spending time indulging myself with their music, but, more than not, these very same bands release records that are difficult to listen to.
They seem to not understand that a part of the reason that people show little interest is because the mix and production makes the tunes extremely hard to digest.
Oh well, in the modern age of recording and the like, I suppose these are the things we have to deal with and find a way around.
On that note, i am actually surprised that no one on this board is interested in my service being that the people on here are of the type i would assume appreciate good music (Mix and all)
