Not too much going on over there at the moment but it's still is a really cool way to connect with fellow inforoosters and keep up with what music they are into or concerts they've been attending.

Just joined the group. My last.fm is the same as my username. Feel free to send me a friend add. I listen to albums in full so I might be distorting those numbers in the upcoming weeks lol

Welcome to the 4 new group members this week. Father John Misty remains on top for second week running and this week marks the first time Passion Pit, Nirvana & Sufjan Stevens have had more than 5 scrobblers since I started them posting here.
Top Artists for the week ending Sunday 1 March 2015

Father John gets bumped from first place and Led Zeppelin surprises with a dominant week. I'm sure it was the Physical Graffiti re-issue that catapulted them.
It's never worked perfectly for me with itunes but it is much more reliable than it used to be. They've added support for many streaming services over the last several years so I do think they still are supporting the platform.
I'm able to scrobble pretty much anything I listen to, but I don't listen in itunes. MediaMonkey and Spotify work great and I can get most of my listens from Youtube, Soundcloud and Bandcamp scrobbled through a Chrome extension.

So how do the rankings work? Are the numbers next to the artists total scrobbles from our group? 'Cause if so, I just started scrobbling again and these numbers are gonna be waaaaaaay skewed for punk music next week.
For the group charts it's not number of songs scrobbled for a particular artist but rather the number of unique group members who listened to that artist during the week. It doesn't matter if you listened to one song or an entire album it still just counts as one listener.

Last week's chart didn't when it should have but when checking for this week's I found they were both there so here's a double dose this week:

Just realized that Wings or Paul McCartney have never made an appearance on these charts since I've began posting them. Furthermore the Beatles have only turned up one time. Pretty crazy!

No Stevie Wonder, U2, Velvet Underground, The Clash, R.E.M., Miles Davis, Bob Marley, Elvis Costello or The Band to name a few other of my personal favorites.
