We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

This was my short list before I ran into medical bills:
Definitely: ----------- The Grateful Dead - 11/18/72 Hofheinz Pavilion, Houston TX (12") Conor Oberst - STANDING ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN/SUGAR STREET (7") South Park - JAMES CAMERON/MY BITCH AIN'T NO HOBBIT (7") Various Artists - THE BIG LEBOWSKI (12") Wu Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. (10") Neil Young - OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES DISCS 5-8 (12" box)
Maybe: ------------
Beatles - LONG TALL SALLY (7") David Bowie - SUE (OR IN A SEASON OF CRIME) (10") Ramin Djawadi - GAME OF THRONES (12" soundtrack) The Flaming Lips - IMAGENE PEISE--ATLAS EETS CHRISTMAS (12" xmas album) Rockabye Baby! - LULLABY RENDITIONS OF JAY-Z (12") St. Vincent - PIETA (10")
But now that I checked and realized I own 3 of the 4 LPs that Neil is releasing I'm going to skip out on that one and save a chunk of change. Still going to try for the other "Definitely" albums. I may throw the St. Vincent release into that too.

You just made my list longer. I forgot GD and Conor. Fuck.

Turns out my local store had to change the way they do Black Friday RSD. They used to allow you to place an order and they'd hold the items for you, instead of first come first serve. I guess that was against the rules and they got found out so now it's back to lining up early to wait. Oh well. At least I have a tablet I can watch/read some stuff on while waiting. Kind of lame though....wanted to just stroll in and pick up what I wanted like usual.
I managed to nab RSD eps by: Jenny Lewis St. Vincent Chvrches
Our local store (End of All Music - Oxford, MS) gave away an awesome 'grab bag' to anyone who purchased an item. It even included a Damien Rice ep cd single that had a $2 LP coupon in it, among many other gifts.
