Oh my god, I can't believe I've to choose between the Soft Bulletin and 36 Chambers... I am so pissed that one of them is going to be eliminated so early. Other than that, Pavement vs. Smashing Pumpkins and Bjork vs. Dre are pretty brutal. All that being said, Pavement versus Smashing Pumpkins is the only matchup that I'm not sure on yet (though pavement has a slight edge at the moment.)

Is the matchup Crooked Rain vs Siamese Dream?
Nah, it's Slanted and Enchanted vs. Siamese Dream (S&E is ranked ahead of Siamese dream on the website's countdown)
And let me also point out that pretty every matchup is a tough one this time, it's just that many of the albums are some of my favorites so it makes them easier choices for me

Before I announce the results for last week, let me clarify the tiebreaker scenario.
In the event or a tie, tied matchups will BOTH move on to the next round of competition. However, instead of being thrown in to the regular mix and reseeded, leaving us with an unworkable number for the next round, all tied albums from a certain round will be removed from the pool, re-seeded, and matched up against each other before moving on to the next round.
Example:
Albums 53, 67, 88, 121, 123, 132, 165, 199 all are involved in ties. Before moving on to the next round, albums 53 and 199 would be matched up, as would 67 and 165, 88/132, 121/123.
#73 Led Zeppelin - Eponymous II v. #184 The Byrds - Sweetheart of The Rodeo
#74 Paul Simon - Graceland v. #183 The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society
#75 De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising v. #182 Cream - Disraeli Gears
#76 Bob Dylan - Bringing it All Back Home v. #181 Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left
#117 Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted v. #140 Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
#118 Dr. Dre - The Chronic v. #139 Bjork - Debut (this is the actual title of this album)
#119 Lauryn Hill - The Myseducation of Lauryn Hill v. #138 Air - Moon Safari
#120 Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) v. #137 The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
I'm gonna raise hell if the Kinks lose that match up. I fucking hate that I've to choose between The Soft Bulletin and 36 Chambers (two of my all time favorites)
Last Edit: Dec 15, 2014 22:02:52 GMT -5 by Fore34: Sorry about the kinks album, it's so amazing though. It was the first picture disc vinyl I ever bought and it's one of my most prized vinyls - Back to Top

As much as I love The Kinks, Graceland should've been a top 10 album on this list. It easily dominates.
