Phoenix and Arctic Monkeys will both be high energy. Cut Copy, Chromeo, Disclosure and Janelle Monae will be full of dancing too. If you're at most of those 6, plus a superjam or two, I think you found the party.
OK so I am in the “Older” category of Bonnaroo’vians, but no one enjoys it more :). This is my 5th year and each year has brought mind blowing sets. I love all the diversity (Rap is still growing on me :dead-horse:). The sets I love the most are the ones where the PARTY breaks out .
Whose Bringing the PARTY and what will happen at this PARTY? (I don’t want miss it)
Actually I hope to learn about this years Party Sets from you guys.
In recent years I have enjoyed many of these moments and don't want to miss many this year. 2010- Steve Wonder- It was a great sing-along 2010- Mumford and sons – Eruption of Joy and Fun!! 2012- Umphree McGee - Dance party till sunrise 2012- Alice Cooper- I was on the Rail so not sure about everyone else but we were partying!! 2012- Fun. – High emergency crowd, crowd surfing (I was not the surfer but rather the waves :D) 2012- Flogging Molly- all out party 2012- Beach Boys- sing-along 2013 - Funk soul dance party- self explanatory 2013- Paul McCartney – smile-A-thon and sing-along 2013- Matt and Kim - High emergency crowd, crowd surfing 2013 Twentyone Pilots - High emergency crowd, crowd surfing
What about this year?
2014- Elton John- sing-along 2014- Cage the elephant- high energy 2014- Grouplove - Believe this will be a Party
I try to figure this every year too, my friends and I call it "fun factor". Last year I really didn't have any, going in, and it really took away from my overall expirience. We are bringing my friends dad this year and we try to figure EXCACTLY this for him too.
We scrubbed the entire lineup and here we are at for him, I'm leaving out a lot of the top of the card stuff that may be obvious though.
