Record Store Day seems to be picking up steam by the year, and 2014 looks to be no exception. As usual, the international bonanza will bring a heap of exclusive records to independent music stores around the globe. The big day occurs on April 19, and there have already been a heap of announcements.
As we count down the days, we've compiled a big list of many of the exclusives that will be coming our way. After all, how else will you know how much room to clear on your record shelf? Many of these were tracked down by the folks at Wax Poetic; some have been officially announced and have full details, while others are a little more mysterious.
New albums are being added all the time, so it's impossible to make an absolutely definite list. That being said, we will continue to update this list to make sure that it's as up-to-date as possible.

"Various – Non-Violent Femmes (LP, Violent Femmes covers by female-fronted bands) ft. Speedy Ortiz, Bleeding Rainbow and Joanna Gruesome."
First must-buy.
Aside from that, the Pennyroyal Tea 7" that the record store told me about sounds pretty enticing, along with the Fucked Up, Jaco Pastorius and Mike Watt releases. It's definitely the worst selection of the past few years so far, but that's a little bit of a relief to me, frankly.
My record store is pressing two picturedisc 7"s of the storefront limited to 150, which really makes me wish I wasn't gonna be in Boston for RSD.

Here is by far and away the biggest list of releases I have seen for this year. There's actually a fair amount of stuff I would want in there, particularly the Jimi Hendrix, Outkast and Anamanaguchi albums. www.bullmoose.com/content/rsd2014list

There's definitely a few goodies in there. Hope I can score the Cave-In "Jupiter and Rareities!"

Hah it's tough. I'm shooting for the Allman Brothers @ the Beacon set. When I don't get what I set out for is when I get the wild stuff. Hah last year I came home with the "Dazed and Confused" soundtrack.

Where do you live that you shop at BullMoose? That's my hometown record store!
They have a pretty amazing selection of vinyl even when it's not RSD time.

I sadly do not get to shop at that fine looking store. It was linked on another site and I noticed they had a really extensive list of rsd releases.
My local store is Criminal Records in Atlanta, fwiw.

Ohhhh, well if you ever get up to Maine then BullMoose if definitely a place to check out! The employees are amazing, they support local and indie music and their overall selection is awesome. They also tend to give you free stuff with most purchases!
