My understanding is that Swish is brand/variety of cigar/cigarillo that can be hollowed out and then refabricated into a "blunt"
I will typically use King Pin blunt wraps but our local head shop that sells them don't keep their stock very fresh, the cigar leaves will dry out over a period of time and become useless.
IC, thank you for the reply. My primary method for administration is vaporizing.
I personally think that using glass pipes is juvenile, but it really depends on the pipe. Some are very artistic and intricately designed, which can be appreciated on a separate level, but in the end you're still heating the cannabis to the point of combustion.

I definitely will also thoroughly enjoy a well prepared doob, and will only use RAW Hemp 1-1/4 size papers. I used to smoke cigarettes and burning a doob somewhat satiates that lingering 'smoke cravings' that creeps up once in awhile. I also enjoy the communal 'ritual' of enjoying a doob.
I enjoyed blunts in high school, they were great for parties. But they're just not my thing now, don't like the tobacco.
I enjoy the taste of high grade cannabis, and a vaporizer definitely reigns supreme in that regard. Add in the health benefits of not smoking and you have a winner in my book.
Don't get me wrong though, I'll never turn down a bowl or a joint passed my way! In fact, sometimes a shared joint is just the right method for some occasions.

Whatever method you prefer most, just enjoy it
Very well said! Definitely appreciate the message there, just enjoy it !
During my travels I have found that some communities don't roll with tobacco and some do. Seems like from Ontario to BC, most don't roll with tobacco and from Quebec through the Maritime provinces they prefer tobacco in their joints.
Anyone who has travelled through the US noticed a difference between preferred rolling methods in different States?
I've never met a single person that ever mixed tobacco into their joints. I've always perceived that as a European habit. Forgive my American ignorance, but I'm assuming the areas you've noticed mixing tobacco are more heavily French influenced?

I had NEVER heard of it until 2010 when I met some dudes at 'roo from California who used tobacco in their joints. They where equally as confused that I didn't.

It definitely is a "French Canadian" thing to do, and I used to mix with tobacco when I started.
My Dutch friend always uses Drum rolling tobacco and they are disgusting tasting doobs, yet beautifully rolled using the inside-out method which I hope to be able to learn someday, minus the tobacco.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Anyone ever smoke synthetic marijuana? I had a buddy who let me try it. It is pretty messed up. Scares me because you have no idea what it is exactly. The high was super harsh too, if you took anymore than one hit. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with it.
I smoked it off an on for a summer when I didn't have a solid connect. The shit liquefied/stripped resin from my pipe and made it leak out. When it starting doing that, I quit.
Also, tobacco and ganj together is traditionally called a 'spliff' and it is a European thing but I've had/made plenty in the South, so it is kinda surprising some people haven't heard of that.

Spliff can also be used interchangeably with joint, but you're right.

It should help things burn more slowly and evenly, but I can't imagine the taste of tobacco is worth it.

I know these as 'Spliffs'. I see them uncommonly, and I don't much care for them. Usually the appeal of spliffs is to non-cigarette smokers that enjoy that nicotine buzz once in a while. Other people do it when they are trying to conserve weed. It's also a way to hide the smell better if you are trying to be incognito. I get why there are many reasons to prefer spliffs, but for me the taste is just weird and it doesn't quite satisfy me as much as some tightly rolled sticky-icky.
