This is a pretty decent lineup, but a horribly named festival. Also, when did it become the norm to have "TBA" on your lineup posters?
Sweetwater's flagship beer is named 420, which they claim has nothing to do with heady nonsense. They support that claim by throwing a jam band festival on 4/20 every year.

Convenient enough its also the date the beer was first brewed. Why not have a party on their birthday!

Sorry guy, I'm sure they're great employers and all, but it's pandering. Make a name for yourself cause you're beer taste good, not because it's name is a drug reference.
It's a really big beer in Atlanta and it used to be one of the best neighborhood festivals in the city. I used to live walking distance to it in Candler Park and it was free. It was an event where every year I would see more people I knew than anything else. It's kind of sad to see it go. But, the beer is legit and one of the prides of the city. Even with the stupid name.
They have been making good beer for 17 years, and doing this festival for 10. They have a name for themselves. Most of their beers have pandering beer names. They are also a pretty big beer sponsor of roo. They should be canning in march, which will make roo that much better, for me anyways.

I actually do not care for the 420 at all. Out of their standard brews, Georgia Brown is where it's at. They have great special releases. I was especially pleased with the Happy Ending: beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/273/19488/

I'm not exactly excited about Sublime being the headliner but it's still a solid lineup for $18. I'm looking forward to seeing G. Love, Galactic, Chris Robinson, EOTO, Conspirator, Anders Osborne and some of the EDM. Will head to Cherub at Terminal West on Sunday once the fest is over.
4 good fests in a 5 week span for Atlanta. We are getting spoiled.

I don't do "official 5Ks" cause they are all a scam. This one is still scammy but the free beer is convincing, wouldn't mind the shirt either. Also burning some calories before I crush some beer.
