I've been going between this and the new Pallbearer all day today. But I think I am going to have to give the nod to Ty; this is just a great record. There were a lot of other great records that could have won in another month like Spoon and J Mascis. This was just a really solid month.
this is why you keep the tally secret until the end!
It seems a little ridiculous to be switching votes just so Album B beats Album C, even though B was their 2nd or 3rd place. Just pick for whatever you thought was best, not whatever is more trendy.
Having the tally secret doesn't mean much, because even if it wasn't posted by GL/me/Rosko/whoever else has done this - someone else could easily do it, and we're back to square one. Unless we had secret voting. And this isn't like the political voting in November where it's a better idea to have a secret ballot (though I posted mine on Facebook anyway)

Sadly, the new Moonface is another piano-ballad EP.
Sadly because it's piano-ballad or because it's only an EP? I loved Julia With Blue Jeans On. Highly recommend seeing it live, I enjoyed it just as much as the Wolf Parade show I saw.
