He was great, some of those saves were ridiculous. He's the MVP for the Hawks so far with Bickell close behind. I'm hoping game four the Hawks can score some more because Miller has played great too. A couple goals from Kaner would be awesome.

watched a bit of last game, I'm almost 100% sure Kane and Toews are playing hurt.
i gotta say, if Bishop was in the net instead of Lindback, it might be a little different of a series, but i still believe habs walk away with this one. They're dominating the play in both ends.

GO HABS!!!
They are hurt and if it was still the regular season they wouldn't have come back yet. Hopefully they're getting healthier with each game. Good thing hockey players are tougher than the average athlete.
I know one thing, the madhouse on Madison will be rocking tonight, GO HAWKS!!!

Now it's time for a real test, MON/BOS is gonna be a damn good series. Hopefully DET can win another game or two to drag it out a bit. I'll be rooting for the HABS in that one.

I think all western conference fans should cheer for the Habs next round. A much MUCH smaller, less physical team than Boston. Watching the Sharks Kings go to war, I just can't picture Montreal being substituted for either team and them winning. Not that style of game, and even if habs played their game, the' get worn down before we got a 4th win. Boston can hang with that style, and they'll have less wars to go through.
I hate the Red Wings. They've been in the playoffs as long as I can remember and they stole Alfie away. That said I really hope they manage to win so that it wasn't all for not. Guy gave Ottawa everything he had for 17 years and if we're not going to win then I want him to, even if it's with the fucking Wings.

My gf is a Sens fan, so I'll speak for her here in saying that, god bless you. That said, blame the Sens management and Alfies semi selfish desire to win a cup ( shame on him, right? Lol). It's just too bad he chose the wrong team to win it with.

3-1 series lead over Detroit. Haha Detroit really played their hearts out in the first period but I think that was their last stand of the series. Montreal and Boston series is gonna be great. Montreal is pure scum.

ExFUCKINGscuse me?????
You have made a powerful enemy today friend!
You're sweep of Tampa Bay wasn't that impressive. Florida shouldn't have hockey teams. Give one to Quebec City, Maine, or Saskatoon!

If you havnt watched the habs at all this season, then sure, it's not that impressive, the bolts are surely one of the weaker teams in the playoffs, with out their starting goalie and a super star player still trying to recover from a broken leg (he still had the highest goals per game average in the NHL)
But the way the Habs played as a team, the way they dominated to play, the way they contained the puck, and the way they owned their own zone (considering they're the smallest team in the playoffs). IS impressive, and completely unexpected after an entire season Where they showed very little of this style of play. Sure there was controversy, but at best, Tampa MAY have forced a game 5.
And Florida shouldn't have hockey teams, sure I can agree with this, but either should Texas, or California, or ohio, or ect. Why would a team of predominantly CANADIAN hockey players, who happen to play for a city in Florida, take away from the habs sweeping them.
I'm not fooling myself, sweeping the bolts doesn't convince me that the habs will walk all over the next team, but the way they played in each game, and how they held their emotions in check when Tampa threatened to take game four, and buckled down to finish the job, shows me a lot of character. Anyone who writes off the Habs, have not been paying attention.
And I havnt even mentioned how much of a show Carey Price is going to put on now that he's been snubbed for the Vezina nomination. Look the fuck out!

Totally agree the series is going to go six or seven games, probably seven. Price really does cause the Bruins a lot of trouble especially in Montreal. My point with Tampa was that with a lame fan base, they don't really have the home-ice advantage Boston, Vancouver, Chicago, or Montreal has. Since the series was so easy for them, I think the Bruins will catch them off guard in the first game.
Also, I'm not sure about Montreal, but the Bruins have one of the best away records of any NHL team. Without that lame goal at the end of the first game, we would have sweeped too. I juts hope the refs don't fuck it up too much. They are very persuaded in the Bell Centre, especially when your team likes to dive. All we have in Marchand for cheap shots.
I agree Price was snubbed for the Vezina nom. MAUAHAHA RASK!

. Well, having the best record period usually helps with that away record. I love when bruins fans use regular season stats to bolster their team. And I've never been a big believer in home ice advantage in hockey. The Bell Centre can be a negative factor for the habs, luckily, we scored first, and early in both home games so far. If Tampa scored a goal 8 seconds into the game, the life would have been sucked out of that crowd, an that gets into the heads of players. If the wings can get to a 6th game, I agree Boston catches Montreal sleeping in the first game. If Boston wins tonight, they'll still get a few days off as well.
As far as refs go, in my opinion, the game is now too fast, and there have been an influx of human error calls in the last few years. They really need to allow the video room to call down to refs, and allow more video review. Especially on plays resulting in goals. That "goaltender interference" disallowed goal should have counted, habs got a break there, but any given day, the calls can go either way. You say the habs are divers (spoken like a true Bruins fan). What you people don't seem to understand, is that when you are a fast team playing against a slower team like the bruins, the slow team needs to use hooking and grabbing to slow them down and keep up. If I'm moving my feet and making a move pass you, and all you can do to counter is use your stick to slow me down, you deserve a penalty. There is no one team who embellishes calls more than the other, it's everywhere in the game. DISCIPLINE is what teams like Boston lack. Why is it that you constantly find you're self crying "DIVERS" so often? And if you want to talk about diving, there's no more of an embarrassing example than Brad Marchand. There are hundreds of YouTube playlists of his antics out there, wanna show me a couple of any well known Habs players who like to dive?
The Price snub and Rask bump pisses me off, when you look at the type of teams playing infront of them. The habs are no where near the defensive specialists the bruins are, at least not during the season. Take Rask out of Boston, you probably still finish first in the east. Take Price out of Montreal, and the habs don't get anywhere near the playoffs.
Oh, and of course, let's hope Lucy keeps his stick to himself out there, we've got a few young players who might want to have children some day.
