Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's sooo close to show time!!! This may be blasphemy on these boards, but I'm so much more excited for these three shows than I was 'Roo! Anywho, to all of those that go, safe travels, and have a mexcellent time...I know I will! Also, if you happen to see someone wearing a red and black "mad-hatter" hat with a pair of sunglasses with one eye, def say hi (it'll be me). I unfortunately have no idea how to upload a photo in a convo, and don't care to learn at the moment, seeing as how I'm having a few drinks at the moment.

So excited for you guys. I wish I could have made it to Chicago but it wasn't meant to be.
If anyone can get a photo of the posters at merch, I would really appreciate it. My hubby works with the sound guy and his company is doing the sound (and I still couldn't get in!!) and he is going to get me a poster at least I'm curious what they look like and how much they are......

dreamingtree - Status Serigraph has posted these which he made for the event. There may be others but not sure. I'd really love the China Cat Sunflower one
Anyone making the trip to chicago, feel free to chill at my place 3 miles away from soldier field. Can help you out with parking as well if you don't feel like paying. Sadly I am too broke for a ticket to any day let the depression set in.

Enjoying the ppv. It was fun being there last weekend, but the chip in my kid's neck to insure I paid for the tickets within a generation took away from the daddy daughter vibe.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
Anyone aware of a good free live stream of the show tonight?
Did you end up finding one?
Did not! Will have to watch and pretend it's live
Edit to add: they were effing showing it at my local movie theatre. I didn't even think to look there. I'm admitting my failure only so others may learn, and I may remember.

I'm listening again after being there last night. I have no words. I actually think Jeff was the standout last night. He was in his own zone, yet always glancing at every little thing going on. Just my impression.
I got the poster I wanted, which was the David Welker from earlier.
I had waited a long time to see Billy and Mickey.
I'm grateful. That's all I got right now folks. Oh, and "Be Kind" - Mickey
thanks for the ustream link, cause PF turned off the other, for now. I had to replay it again, as I just got home an hour ago.
that was also the fastest I escaped the 'loop' in downtown, ever. access and exit was super quick.
I had a fantastic weekend. Friday I went down to the lot and hung out for a little bit and picked up one of the official posters, there were at least 12. I then went to the Edward sharpe late night show that I won tickets to. Saturday I got to the lot around 230 and stayed there until 7 when I went in. I won 2 ga pit tickets. Show was fantastic and everyone around me was having a good time. No complaints about the show. Sunday I went to the fiyawerx all star jam - only show I bought a ticket for. That was fun. Overall I caught three shows in three days including one of the dead shows.
A lovely fiasco happened Friday with those Status prints. He made 50 more, of 3 of them (VW bus not inc), and jacked up the prices, which I figured ahead of time, he would do. Maybe up to $100. They were only $60 in Chicago at the shows.
China Cat Sunflower/SC started at $150, Train/SC started at $200 (don't quote me on that one), and Air Balloon/Chi at $275
These weren't even part of the original batch.
I get it, but like I said, $100 at most would have been nice.
I got lucky again, and picked up China Cat yesterday off of the site posted by dreamingtree. Paid $70.
Some of these posters from the shows are getting a lot of money thrown at them on e-bay. My goodness.
I bought into the "Last Dead shows ever" thing and all I have to say about another tour is GOOD. I wouldn't mind at all if they through together another tour, in fact I hope they do. That being said I don't think Lesh is going to be involved. I think he is happy at Terrapin Crossroads and the Shapiro events (Capitol/Lockn)

Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will share the stage this fall. The Grateful Dead members will perform as part of Los Muertos, a new project featuring guitarist John Mayer, longtime Dead-family keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge. The ensemble’s first confirmed show is an appearance at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Halloween. Los Muertos translates to “The Dead” in Spanish. The show was announced in a Village Voice ad under the header Dead & Company. Weir has been rumored to work with Mayer on a new project for several months. Mayer attended all five Fare Thee Well performances and was often spotted mouthing the words to Dead classics near his girlfriend Katy Perry. Recent Instagram posts show Weir and Mayer rehearsing with Mike Gordon and Steve Kimock, but neither musician appears to be involved in Los Muertos. Phil Lesh will play a sold-out show right outside New York City at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on Halloween. Los Muertos is expected to announce additional dates.
Gah, same night and city as Phil and Friends. I honestly do not have a problem with Mayer, but after FTW I wonder about Bobby as "lead core member". Slowed down tunes & weird song choices.
