We are leaving from College Station Wednesday at 8 am. Bypassing Dallas and taking I-30 out of Texas and then through Arkansas to take I-40. We will camp at T.O. Fuller State Park outside of Memphis and wake up around 5 or 6 am and then drive the 277 miles on I-24 to get to Manchester. Hopefully this will put us in line around 10 am or 11 am on Thursday. Is this a similar route that y'all are taking? Are we putting too much faith in zero traffic and zero stops? Since we aren't arriving in Manchester the night before...how long do you think the line will be and will we most likely sit for more than five hours?
Sorry for the bombardment of questions. It's just that this is the route my three friends have chosen (as well as MSN) and I don't have that much faith in my friends when it comes to planning trips.
