Trying to have a backyard hoop party to Govt Mule, but the tree frogs are drown them out, I'm getting super bit up, and the webcast keeps freezing. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Couldn't make it this year ... too much going on at work and I had to attend an awards banquet. Went in 2011 and 2012 — hopefully I'll make it in 2014, AF will headline, and Mumford will do a make-good.
So I've watched many hours of the streams which made not being at Bonnaroo even worse than I expected. It's definitely not all about the music, it"s being there that's makes the magic. On the other hand it's Sunday morning and I slept last night and it's not 100 degrees and my head doesn't hurt and I'm not dirty and I don't smell (so far as I can tell) and I have running water and a bathroom less than 20 feet away and no car alarms kept me up and.........I'm so sad because I miss it.
Hey Fawn, Bonnaroo in Warren, awesome. Not sure the air conditioner adds to the realism though, crank the heat up to 95 or so, now that's Bonnaroo.
Well I enjoyed the live stream a lot more than I expected! The WIFI at work and my iphone gave me the best picture. Hightlights from this view:
The Lettuce/Wu-Tang superjam looked a train wreck and was awesome to watch and would have loved to have been there. Lettuce is the Funking Jam!
Macca, was GREAT! Just wish that we got more than 1 hour of his set.
Matt and Kim- OMG! That looked like a freaking Party! If you were there you know what I mean. That crowd, "Is quacking nuts!" I have never seen a show that had more people crowd surfing, more people seemed to be above the crowd than the number of people that made up the crowd. Everyone was crowd surfing, even Kim! FUN times!
Tom Petty - It looked great from here and sounded just as awesome. Sorry I missed all of their show, live.
Jim James - Well what else to say about that show, except I wish we could have seen that Superjam.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeors - it maybe because I just finished it, but that is my favorite show. When they found the "story" and brought that kid on stage. I was jumping up and down waving my arms in the air. and I am at work right now. Awesome show!
Wish I could have been there, but now I am glad that we do not have to pack up and drive home. Next year Bonnaroo, next year!
