Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros just announced dates the weekend after Hangout with Jack Johnson. And they will be at Shaky Knees the week prior to Hangout. Could they be a possible addition?
Oh man! That wasn't a bad show, but I clearly remember that lead singer dude being, by far, the most f'd up person on the beach at that time. Anyone else remember him face planting into the sand?! Jeez, I really don't care to see them again. Super doped up performers don't really impress me... You're no Jimi Hendrix brah...
^ Supposedly he is 'clean and sober' . If so, i want some of those pills he's on. I think he's one of those people who got f'ed up to a point you can't come back from. I really liked their 2012 set though. (he also just won a golden globe for the music he composed for 'all is lost')
I'm sure Outkast is going to play a variety of all their stuff since this is their 20th anny and all that, but if they perform some of their earliest tracks... I'll be a happy man. Fingers crossed for Player's Ball (obviously), Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, Ain't No Thang and my personal fav...

Frontman for Edwards Sharp name is Alex Ebert and he won a Golden Globe a couple weeks ago for Best Original Score in the movie "All Is Lost." Just saying'

Oh yes, the cinematic masterpiece that was All Is Lost! Redford at his finest. I gotta know, did y'all just google that gem, or did anyone here actually watch All Is Lost and/or the Globes? just sayin

Yes and yes. All is Lostwas almost as boring as Llewyn Davis.
I hope that Death Cab isn't the add. I loved them in middle school but there are so many better acts out there right now.
I agree... I don't see them fitting the vibe of the festival too well at all. The Postal Service would be a much better add IMO
According to their lead singer, The Postal Service has played their last show so that add looks unlikely. Agree on Death Cab, though. Would not fit the Hangout vibe AT ALL.
Been away for a solid minute guys and too lazy to read through all the pages. Any confirmed adds? Or what are the most likely rumors for adds lately?
Nothing really strong as of late. Quasi-confirmed that Aer will join RDGLDGRN at the fest, Cherub is a highly-likely due to twitter activity, and G. Love is a good possibility due to Jack Johnson being there and his appearance in 2012. Nothing huge as of yet as far as I've seen on here.
Tons of crossover here. Warpaint, Ed Sharpe, Phosphorescent, Built To Spill, Kurt Vile would all be great additions. Don't know much about Brand New. Are they any good?

Brand New is one of my favorites from High School, not quite sure about mixing in with the Hangout lineup though. Doesn't keep to their original ways, but who knows. Phosphorescent and NMH have been the top two rumors for the answer to the Roo Clue that came out today, so those are worth throwing into the mix as well (though I haven't checked tour availability for them yet).
Well sparky to make you feel better it was 1 here when I was on my way to work this morning lol
True. But icestorms happen in Gulf Shores every 30 years or so. The locals are freaking out!
Montgomery is part of the icestorm too. Our cities don't have winter weather infrastructure (we have hurricane infrastructure), so we're pretty much stranded at the moment.

I complained a little about driving in the ice this morning, but I'm not complaining now that I'm home with a hot toddy, watching the snow cover the ice.
