Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So who knows the best way or time to drive into Roo to avoid being stuck in BFE? I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find a thread relating to this anywhere.
Entering at the northeast entrance on Brushy Branch seems to almost always land people in BFE up there. Entering on Wednesday night also lands you in BFE. The generally best way to avoid BFE appears to be arriving Thursday during the day, and using the entrance along the interstate.

BFE means Bum Fuck Egypt/Butt Fuck Egypt or a variation of that, and around here it usually means a 30min or more walk from the campsite to Centeroo. It basically just means really damn far away.
Click your heels three times. The later on thursday you show up the longer you wait in line. Usually a long time.
I don't think this is true. We arrived real late on Thursday night, around 9 PM or so, and we waited on line on the interstate for only about 40 minutes, tops.
Want to know a good way to not be in BFE? Show up on Thursday, and don't be one of the first ones in. After that, don't listen to what my friendly parking company tells you, and follow the RV's. Your not supposed to, but just do it. From there, no one will know why you're going that way, and try to send you back in line. Just pretend to be lost for a while until you see a chance to park as close as possible. Most people you encounter don't have a clue what they're doing. They're generally given one direction to work by. For instance, last year I just turned all the RV's into one way, and turned other vehicles around. That's all I was told to do.
Once your parked (as long as you don't park in the dead center of the campsite), then there isn't much we can do to move you. You may encounter an asshole, but don't listen to anyone without a walkie-talkie or a golf cart. Even then, just move and pretend to be lost again, then come right back.

Nu-uh. I arrived 1:30pm Thursday off the insterstate and ended up in the farthest most row of Goldmember - beyond BFE.
You must have been a couple of cars behind me because this is exactly what happened to me. I have a different plan this year.
Then you both were probably right by me...worst walk of my entire being...I missed so much fun 'Roo stuff from having to camp all the way out there...BFE doesn't even begin to describe it.
05 and 06 we were one of the first 50 or so cars in on weds and both times were in james bond i believe but right next to the woods across from the chopper, personally I liked it over there and having the woods right there was a godsend in soo many ways. also since everyone over there was all set up by weds night, the party was awesome.
I was wondering if the 112 exit was only used for Bonnaroo, or if it's a regular exit? I have been looking at the various maps of the area, and i don't see an actual I-24 exit right there, just a little cornfused. And to add, anyone think it's better coming in from the north or southbound side of I-24?

112 is just for bonnaroo. They cut down a few trees and made an entrance there. It goes right up to the entrance of the farm.
