I know people are just starting to receive them, but has anyone succeeded in registering their bands yet? Already I and another person on here have run into problems with it. The instructional video says to enter the 16-digit code on your wristband, but when you enter that into the form, it throws an error saying to enter an 8-digit code. I've sent an email to bonnaroo@intellifestival.com and will update if I hear anything back.
I tried to register mine and got the same message but, my cousin said she put the 16 digit number in and hers went through. So... I don't know what's going on with this.
edit: I got mine to register with the 16 digit number. Just wait it out a couple hours and try again if it's still not working.

Maybe the registration site hasn't been updated for this year yet (could be updating it now, seeing as people cant get on). Last years wristbands (mine at least) had 8 digits at the bottom. I would wait a few days and try again.
EDIT: It looks like it's updated, so I don't know what the issue is.
I put my information in and clicked the register button. It worked fine and went to the page where you can link it to facebook. I accidently clicked back on my browser and when I went to go forward again an error box came up and said "Error: Already Registered." I'd still like to link it to my facebook account if possible. Does anyone know if there is any way to get back to that page or to get into my settings for the wristband? Certainly not an experience ruining mistake, but if it is possible to still set that up I would like too. Any help would be appreciated!
This is my first time at Bonnaroo and this forum has been extremely helpful in compiling all of the information that I need to know before going. It is much appreciated!

i'd like to try to link my wristband to facebook as well. i only made it past step 1 so i'm registered but i don't think i'm connected. last year was fun to look back at all the shows i checked in at.
If I passed step one has my wristband already been registered? I guess I was expecting a confirmation of some sort to pop up, but I made it to step 3 and it doesn't say anything else.

I did the same things last year, and could not find a way to link mine to Facebook after I had already skipped the step... It's not really worth it anyways... Last year it would post that you were at shows you weren't at, and had quite a few glitches.
"Thanks for registering your wristband! In response to your message, we're creating a new page that you will be able to access, where you can link your wristband registration to your facebook. Check back for this update in the coming days."
So it looks like we will have a fix for this soon! I have to say, I am really impressed with how they respond to there fans!

That is nice... I emailed them last year but it was only like 8 days before the fest (late ticket arrival), and I never heard back from them. They just need to update it so you can link a bank account of some sort and use the wristbands to buy food and get money out of the ATMs
Is there seriously no confirmation screen that you've registered? That's the kind of thing that would drive me batshat insane...having to wait until I roll up to the toll booth to know whether the registration took.
No confirmation really is asinine. That's such an easy step to implement, and it would save all sorts of headaches for many involved. I haven't registered mine yet, but I know not getting a confirmation screen would make me question whether everything went through ok, or if there was some sort of hang up.
If you've linked it to FB or twitter go look at your feed. If it says "so and so just registered their wristband" you're good. If you didn't connect you can go back to the registration page and do so later.

So you're supposed to enter the longer 16 digit code on the second line, right? There was another code on the first line but I put in the 16 digit second line code...it seemed to work, but there was no confirmation page and step 3 (subscribe to the bonnaroo youtube page) let you subscribe to it but there was no "you're all set, thanks. no further action required" page.

I can't think of another situation where it would use any gender specific words. Form this point on it should only post things like "so-and-so saw Partisan Turbine at This Tent. Something bonnaroo".
soo i got to the screen that asks if you want to subscribe to bonnaroo365. (i did) now what? it doesnt give me an option to go to the next page and there was no confirmation.
Another problem with this lack of a confirmation screen is that if you're looking for a ticket and you answer a Craigslist ad, like somebody is in another thread just now, and you decide to meet up with the seller in a public place and hand over the money and register the wristband right there and then...how the hell are you supposed to know that the band is legit when the registration process won't tell you whether the registration actually went through?
Unless, I guess, you link it to your Facebook address and it posts on your behalf. But that seems a bit capricious, don't you think?
I'm the guy who will be buying from craigslist, actually in about 3 hours woohoo. I'm confident that it's legit because the seller says the package is unopened, so I would imagine that they wouldn't even have been able to see the number on the wristband yet. If they fixed the Facebook connection thing then maybe they're also working on implementing a confirmation screen.

I doubt most people are worried about a confirmation screen. All is inforoosters just have the advantage/disadvantage of being at least somewhat nerdy and appreciate things like that. I guarantee most of my friends will register and not think twice about it.
And hopefully they've worked on the Facebook posting system this year so multiple and incorrect posts are avoided... I did notice they switched to solid RFID chips this year instead of the flexible ones from last year... Maybe that might contribute to a scanning improvement
