Why doesn't Jameis Winston get LASIK or prescription goggles? He has to squint to get the signs from the sideline. He plays great already. That would be a big plus for his accuracy.
Spartan fans like to throw down when they celebrate with each other. Oh, and seriously, Michigan? -48 yards rushing for the game?
It's because Hoke apparently forgot to remind the O-Line that they were supposed to protect Gardner this week. Giving up 7 sacks in one game is sad even if State has a great defense.
FSU is the real deal, if they don't get to play for the championship it will be the shame of shames.
FSU were 21 point favorites before this game, so it's not like this game should be a total surprise. 12 points separate Miami from being 4-3 going into this game. Sure, they were 7-0, but it seemed a consensus that they were a weak top 10 team.
I saw a nice article the other day about how this would have been a great year for the 4 team playoff to have started with Alabama, FSU, Oregon and Ohio St all looking good. There's still tough games left for all of them. Alabama still has LSU, Auburn and whoever they play in the SEC Championship (though the Championship game is probably the softest of the three games). Oregon has Stanford. Ohio State has Michigan and probably Michigan St in the Big 10 Championship. FSU has the easiest road it seems with it likely only being a rematch with Miami in the Championship game, and FSU seems to be handling them easy tonight.
Even if they all end up 13-0, I think FSU will get the same treatment that Clemson was going to. Alabama is an SEC team in the midst of a dynasty, so they punch an automatic ticket if they go undefeated. Oregon is a team that has been a bridesmaid for several years, and they also create an interesting match-up with Bama. I don't see voters going against that unless FSU or Ohio State just dominates the rest of their schedule.
Edit: Did Herbstreit just say he wanted Bama-FSU as 1-2?

It'll be a shame for either Oregon or FSU to be left out. I really think FSU is the most complete team of the three, but I don't really know who would win if any of them played. We can speculate a bit more on how things will shape out after next week's games.
2nd time they have done it this year. this one was just 5 yds. longer. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had 2 90 yd td receptions in the same season before?
They'd only have to drop 4 spots which is pretty feasible. How much was Auburn supposed to win by this week?
Surprisingly, Auburn was a 7.5 point favorite. Won by 18, 35-17.
Only 7.5? I thought it would have been more than that. In that case, yeah, Miami will probably fall below them. It will mark the 5th top 10 ranked team (at the time of the game) Tennessee will play this season... yay?

It really is a shame that FSU will likely miss an opportunity at a National Championship. There's no way Oregon drops the Stanford game after last year. Bama vs Oregon is your championship game, which is great, but FSU has done more than enough to show they belong there. What a perfect year this would have been for the 4-team playoff. Bama vs Ohio State, Meyer vs Saban? Are you kidding me? And then to have FSU vs Oregon, Winston vs Mariota, both with great weapons at their disposal. What a shame, guys.
