Yes but you ring it to tens of people whereas I am sure Arizona gets at least a thousand.
Oh, you mean public school University of Arizona has more people supporting its athletics than private Jesuit institution Fordham University located in a Bronx ghetto? Get out of town!

If it makes you feel any better, people don't really attend intramural football at any school regardless of size.

For some reason no good video exists or our victory bell ringing ceremony, but ya normally there are at least a couple thousand there plus the full band, pom, cheerleaders, etc.

I went to the Miami-unc game last night for the hell of it (aka free ticket and alcohol). Stephen Morris had one of the worst performances for a "big time" QB that I can remember. He doinked a pass off his lineman's head for one of his 4 picks. None of which were from good defense. But props to Miami for pulling it out after losing their two best offensive players in the first quarter.
Yeah, Fordham is playing Yale. It's gonna be crazy.
talk around here is about how much this game resembles the game against UNC in the National Championship year. at that time it was the first ever match up between 2 top 10 ACC teams. this one is the first between 2 top 5 ACC teams. the score in that game was 10-8. I think this one will be a little different.

Its not the first top 5 ACC matchup, at least according to ESPN, its the fourth since '92.
Edit-I'm curious what those previous matchups are and I can't find them, I don't know if they include the FSU-Miami games before Miami was in the ACC, but that seems kinda bogus if ESPN would count that. If anyone can find a list it would be appreciated.

Oh you're right. The Tigers are ranked No. 4 in the country and the Seminoles are No. 5, making their matchup just the third matchup of ACC teams with both in the top 5 of the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. In 1997, No. 2 Florida State beat No. 5 North Carolina 20-3 in Chapel Hill. And in 2005, No. 5 Miami (Fla.) won at No. 3 Virginia Tech 27-7.

Two things I saw on the ticker tonight while watching Louisville. One is probably common knowledge among Clemson fans. The other maybe.
1) The home team has won the last 6 meetings between the two. 2) Tajh Boyd is #1 in TD passes of 20+ yards since the start of last season among AQ conference QBs.
Also, to follow up on Delicious Meatball Sub's post, Grambling St's game tomorrow is cancelled due to the team refusing to travel to it.
they are passing out 10,000 megaphones to the Clemson student section tomorrow.
So, they're cheating, then?
e:
I guess we'll find out if that's even legal. I have no idea. It would be plenty loud without them, with that added it's definitely going to be the loudest stadium ever.

I think the rules are determined by conference. I remember the UofA released a statement about Vuvuzellas (sp?) after the last world cup and how artificial noise makers were banned by the pac-12

these are being given out by the school. the lady that oversees those type of activities was talking about it on the radio yesterday. so I'm guessing it is legal.
