Straight forward. I havent been to many Roo lounges but want to make more of an effort this year. Do any have hiballs? Is Miller lite troo music lounge, only miller lite? Any spots for coolers or girly drinks, for the girlys? Sonic stage has a tented bar i think?? Thanks!
I've always kept an eye out for hard liquor in Centeroo, but have never ever seen it. Pretty sure it is not allowed.
It's unfortunate, as sometimes I am bloated from too much beer and just want a rum and coke. Not sure why they don't sell it. It could have to do with the time it takes to mix a drink, vs cracking a beer. If that was the case, the canned jack&cokes would be handy, if they sold them.

Thats what im trying to find out. Ive gone since '10, ive never seen any hard booze, but i havent looked really. Ive always taken my own concocktion in using undisclosed methods. Id like to know what else is served other than just beer. When I run out of mine, Ill down a beer or 2, but 90 degree beer isnt my all time favorite. If its your first roo, hit this WHAT section hard, and learn all the festival/camping tricks. Survival is key!

Exactly! A cafe that had cans of jack/cola, mikes hard, smirnoff coolers etc would be perfect

There is no hard liquor or wine. I have emailed them about it and I assume they cannot get a license, or don't want to, but I don't think they are planning on changing it. They have lots of beers (YUK) and hard cider in the Brooers tent. I just carry in a flask on my person, or fill water bottles with wine and take a bunch in

We did this last year, lol. We also learned that cherry vodka goes even better with the lemonade. Plus, if you keep your cup, refills are like half price.
We smuggled water bottles with vodka and lemon/lime juice from those little squeeze bottles in. Those little squeeze bottles are also great just to throw some flavor in your camelbak water too. Or you could just fill your camelbak with vodka/light rum.

If you were referring to loading an entire camelbak full of straight liquor though, yes, that's a terrible idea.
Oh no, I was bein' facetious. I do not recommend fillin' your hydropack with any kind of alcohol. Last year the weather was kind, but I have no doubt that Manchester will bring the heat this summer. And stayin' hydrated is key on The Farm.

I was never asked to empty mine, but that could be because the bladder is in kind of a hidden compartment in the back. Could also be because I went VIP, and they hardly searched my car or my bags at all.
No booze in centeroo. You can get woodchuck hard cider in the brooers tent and at few select beer tents. If you cant do beer (i am allergic to it) get a soft flask like the Vapur Anti-Bottle. Small, cheap, and free from nasty chemicals. Being soft-sided they are very discreet.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I think there were Virgin Daiqueries last year... and I think a long time member on here stumbled on an actual liquor sales stand last year... but I might be wrong.

I just walked into Centeroo with water bottles containing yummies. No need to pay the big bucks. Just fill a few of your water bottles with vodka/gin, and presto!

Bacardi makes an amazing Torched Cherry Rum. I have no idea what makes it torched, but I will say the flavor is very fruity and not cough-syrupy, like other cherry-flavored liquors can be. Just don't bring in the pretty glass bottle!
