I don't see that happening unless his neck forces him to retire.
I was talking about this with one of my co-workers. The neck is always an issue that could cause an end to his career regardless of what he wants. On top of that though, he is going to be 38 in March which is getting up there for an NFL player especially one who has started 240 games (5th all-time amongst QBs). You have to wonder how much gas he has left in the tank. Also, the biggest knock on him in his career is his inability to get it done in the postseason. Going out with a ring would certainly help with that. More than anything, he has always came across as a smart guy, so part of me thinks that he would be one of those guys who wouldn't wait until he had done some serious lifetime damage to himself before hanging it up.
I think Peyton will have a solid game. It's the Broncos D that I think is being overlooked. They aren't a Super Bowl caliber D (at least now with the injuries) and the Seahawks offense can score points - even against a good D like the niners.

If he wins this SB there is no chance he retires being only one behind Brady.

Because he's so accessible and vocal he's one of those players that cause fans to think they know what makes him tic. Of course we don't but my gut tells me that playing and playing at a high level is what drives him. I think he will play until he can't do it anymore. It would be a shame if his neck problems cause him to hang it up after this season. He's good for the game - love him or (like Patriot fans) hate him.

Yeah. I have no idea if he would actually retire before his neck is completely screwed up. I would just like to think he'd know when to quit.

I wanna see some Beast Mode!
I don't know that Seattle can score enough to win this with the depleted receiving corps. We will see if the Legion of Boom can hold one of the top offensive attacks of all time in check. I'd be alright with seeing Manning win another one too.
I don't have a certain team I'm pulling for yet. I just want to see a great game.
I didn't even watch it. I made no predictions. Tho I think it's cute that y'all make such a big deal about a game that allows 4 ATTEMPTS at gaining 10 yards....
