Hey cheese dicks, I wouldn't get too excited. Your D is terrible. We'll be in the playoff hunt just as much as you guys.
While all of what you say is completely true, and the division race is gonna likely come down to the last week of the season. It must hurt to have Rodgers cock slap your team twice a season year in and year out.

Go Pack Go!
Yes, but then I remember that I don't have to live in Wisconsin, so it's an even trade off.

Touche. I don't live in Wisconsin and Chicago is the best city in America IMO.
There is only one perk I would say of living in Wisconsin and that is Spotted Cow Beer.

Trying to be as objective as possible, but I really don't agree with this. Both defenses are fucking terrible, but even with the absurd amount of talent the Bears have at their skill positions, the gap between Rodgers and Cutler is just too big. Not to mention, the Packers already have their toughest game out of they way plus they've already played at Detroit. The Bears still get Detroit twice and have to go to NE whereas the Packers get the Patriots at home. I'd be very impressed if the Bears get through this tough stretch ending with the game at Lambeau at anything better than 4-5.
Ultimately it doesn't matter too much--neither team is really built to do much in the playoffs.

It's hard for me to argue against that logic, but a big loss to GB doesn't mean much for the entire outcome of our season. In 2010 we went to the NFC Championship, but lost to the Packers 3 times that season. In recent tradition the Bears have had a hard time with GB. Even if the Bears are 4 and 5 after the next time these teams meet (which I think they'll find a way to win at least 3 of those games: they'll get one of the Carolina/Atl, They'll beat Miami, and they'll win one of GB/NE.) they still have the talent to win 5 of the next 7. Might be my homer bias talking, but their defense isn't going to play like that against every team from here on out. They'll be a 9-7, 10-6 team. Pending the Detroit implosion which is inevitable, that will be good enough to be in the playoff mix.

instead of wasting time actually playing the thursday night games they should just give the home teams an automatic 28 point victory and be done with it.

Looks like the Christian Ponder era will be briefer than the Milli Vanilli era.
What a topical reference! I'm sure that joke killed when you time-traveled back to 1991 and delivered it as the host of Weekend Update.
And of course it will be brief, he's only playing because Bridgewater rolled his ankle last weekend and they didn't want him playing on short rest. Ponder is garbage.
I was hoping LA would've gotten the draft next year. I'd be cool if they just gave it to whatever city had the first pick that year.
So towns like Cleveland, Jacksonville, Buffalo, and Oakland????
I'm disappointed that Chicago got the draft. I always enjoyed laughing at Jets/Giants/Eagles fans when they booed their picks and got drunk. Place is 100% dudes. Now it's going to be Bears fans. Sigh.
Sure why not, seeing a theater full of Raider fans go apeshit when they draft the next JaMarcuss Russel would be priceless.
