My emotions are not ready for this game.
I started being a cards fan because super bowl 43 was the first game I watched and I just stuck with the underdog. So since I wasn't much of a fan then I wasn't really that disappointed. Same with the saints loss the year after (even though the Packer games is the best game I've ever seen). So this is the most important NFL game I've actually ever watched for my team.
I am not used to the cardinals being this close to a #1 seed. I'm actually quite used to disappointment in all sports (england fan), so how do you guys deal with it?

You have two options: (1) realize that sports are unimportant in the grand scheme of things and only serve as a conduit for regional forms of 'nationalism' and mindless chit-chat with strangers who aren't able to have real conversations or (2) get hammered and punch several holes in the wall as you watch the Seahawks massacre the Cards.

option 2 is most likely since I am half Scottish
Aren't you probably a few years away from option 2 being a real possibility?

I may be a homer, but Aaron Rodgers was a badass yesterday. Coming back in was risky, but the reward was a great second half and now an extra week to recover. Still scared of Seattle, but healthy GB has a shot. Whole different set of teams compared to Week 1.

As a Seattle fan, I'd be more worried about Dallas, honestly. Seattle traditionally fares poorest against teams with massive o-lines and great running games. I think Aaron Rodgers is the best QB alive but I would worry more about Dallas coming to Seattle than having Seattle face Green Bay.
Also, that "different set of team compared to Week 1" cuts both ways. Seattle has been playing historically great football for about 10 weeks now. After the aborted Percy Harvin experiment came to an end, they've been arguably better than they even were last year.

Oh i agree. But seattle looked like their proper selves week 1. It was the following weeks where they fell apart and put themselves back together. Still scared for GB to go to CLink, but they'd have a shot with a bit of luck.
