Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
A bunch of us on Inforoo live in the NYC area and many others outside of the area travel to NYC from time to time to catch shows. Let's put together an NYC Inforoo Meetup before the 2013 festival. There are plenty of good upcoming shows. We should pick one that works (both musical taste and schedule) for a variety of people interested. If we shoot for late-April or May, that should give us plenty of time to make plans. Who's in?!
If you're interested, post your suggestion. Any upcoming NYC shows on your radar?
Furthur is doing an 8 night run at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester. I know its not exactly in the city but only a 40 minute train from Grand Central can serve as a fine pregame and the venue really is magnificent (anyone who caught My Morning Jackets NYE lead up shows can attest to this). Also, the multiple night run makes it easier to coordinate with different schedules. Just a quick idea.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I think all of those shows are sold out aren't they?
I spoke to a couple of NYC area people tonight, we are looking at the weekend of May 17th-19th. Electric Daisy Carnival is that weekend in Queens, but that may price a few people out and is not everyone's "cup of tea" musically. But I am open to suggestions for that weekend. Looking on songkick, there are a lot of shows. And I go to shows of all genres, so it really doesn't matter to me. Let's start throwing bands out there and let me know if that weekend makes sense. I love that weekend because it gives us time to plan and is a nice appetizer a month before Roo.
