Hey all,
This year will be my first Bonnaroo experience. After reading up on all your experiences and opinions, I cannot WAIT for June. The Beatles are one of my greatest inspirations, so it just feels like fate that Macca will be headlining this year!
I've applied to be there as a merch vendor, at the campground. Last year a couple of friends and I started a unique clothing line in which we take a creative spin off the historic Nazca Lines of Peru. It's called Nazca Line Apparel, you can check it out here www.nazca-line.com. The shirts are made in Peru with 100% high quality Pima cotton (SUPER soft), and we would be selling them for $20 at the festival. Since Peru is where my family is from - and not to mention the home of the Nazca lines, our mission is to help provide education for Peruvian children in need. 5% of every shirt sold goes towards AlliancExchange.org, a US nonprofit that supplies children in Tacna, Peru with backpacks containing school, art, recreation, and hygienic supplies. We were very honored to donate $1500 for 30 backpacks this past November!
I'm praying that we get accepted as a vendor this year, but at the same time I can't seem to find a lot of success stories from merch vendors on the web. It all seems to be about food vendors. How has it been for you guys? Do you see a lot of original t-shirt line booths at Bonnaroo? Does it look like they get much success?
I think we're working with a good angle because the designs are based on something real, they're high quality, and we have a charity mission. Let me know what you guys think - any help is truly appreciated.
