I'm convinced that clue 7 is Steve Martin. It has a guy laughing with an arrow through his head in a wild-and-crazy-guy pose (including finger points), and, as I posted in the clue thread:
"Eric B's partner": Steve's partner in the Pink Panther is Eric Bruno Borgman (notice two B's).
"Is paid in full in pesos": Three Amigos quotation: "100,000 pesos to perform with this El Guapo, who's probably the biggest actor to come out of Mexico!"
"On the Harlem Streets": Have had tons of friends run into him on the street and at the gym on the upper west side/harlem.

Steve would be an amazing act for What stage comedian. I don't know if he's doing stand-up/comedy sets much anymore but I think he'd be great for an hour before a headliner.
Doubt it happens this year but this would be pretty cool.
I think it will be his bluegrass act. He has a new duets album with Edie Brickell coming out in April, and they just booked a show together in late May in Florida.

Full tour and album announced this afternoon. He's in Nashville and Greensboro at the end of May and then has a convenient three-week hiatus until June 21.

Where are you getting this idea? Is this a quote from somewhere? The Upper West Side isn't Harlem.
He actually works out on the UWS, or at least used to, but has been spotted multiple times by friends of mine in Harlem as well, up by Columbia and Riverside Church. He also did an event for a YMCA on 92nd street a couple years back.

Being spotted in Harlem isn't some rare feat. You could say the same thing about 1000 other stars. That's what I'm getting at. And again, UWS isn't Harlem. He owned an apartment around like 68th street or so? Can't think of the building.
"On the street of Harlem" implies the person/group is from there or rose to prominence in that area. Neither of those are true for Martin. His rise to stardom was mostly based on the West Coast. People might place him in NYC because of SNL but he was never an actual cast member. Even his most famous play was work shopped in Cali.

For one, I think the clues fit him at least as well as they do ASAP Rocky, especially the pesos part. The entire scene about El Guapo is about being paid in full in pesos. AR's song isn't even called Pesos, it's called Peso.
Also, I'd greatly prefer have Steve Martin on the farm - even if it's just to play some banjo - than someone who was arrested for assault seven months ago.

Man I hate this argument. Punching someone is never okay. No GLORY BOYS at Bonnaroo.

You have got to be kidding me.
What? He was arrested for assault for participating in one brawl and then in a separate incident sued for assault for attacking three people who had the audacity to take pictures of him getting high in a public store, ultimately pleading guilting to a felony.

If a stranger took a picture of you getting high what would you do? Out of curiosity.

First of all, I wouldn't be doing it in a clothing store. But that aside, I don't know what I would do, but I do know I wouldn't beat the crap out of them and steal their stuff.

Stop acting like he is a crackhead who stole stuff to pay for his habit. He took film that had pictures of him doing something illegal.
Ozzy Osbourne pissed on the Alamo, does anyone give a flying f*ck? No. Stop acting like this is some horrible atrocity.
I guess Bjork shouldn't have the right to play either since she assaulted that reporter and all...
Macca was caught growing Cannibus on his property, caught bringing 8 oz's into Japan (TRAFFICKING INTERNATIONALLY!?!?!?!?!? THE HORROR!), and the US refused to give him a Visa until 1973 because of all his pot-related transgressions.
Come on we all know aggressive rap music just attracts juggalos. There were already too many juggalos stalking people last year the last thing we need is more
Yes, because taking a piss on a building is equivocal to violently attacking other people on multiple occasions.
Jesus. What multiple occasions are you talking about, for the record?
ASAP has one arrest on his record, the one we're discussing. Unless the "brawl" you're referring to is when the crowd started attacking the ASAP crew at SXSW, which he wasn't arrested for. Getting hit with beer cans and responding to it isn't a negative, IMO.
And yeah, he threw a couple punches and beat up some nosey people who felt video taping someone smoking was a reasonable thing to do. I don't see why that means he shouldn't play Bonnaroo, if they held people out of the lineup because they'd been arrested, Roo would have an impossible time putting together a good lineup.
