Holy hell. Nick Cave, MBV, Hot Snakes, Shellac, Nurse With Wound, Swans, Neurosis, Wu-Tang.....unfairly stacked. I'd like to see almost everyone on the lineup. Except for Foxygen, Quack that band.

Nurse With Wound got me too. That was my "wow factor".

I know I'm in the minority, but this is what I think a perfect festival lineup looks like. The "big" names aren't that big - just really good. And then it's stacked top to bottom with great acts, many of whom aren't that common. Much better than the standard U.S. Big Festival pattern of "mostly the same subheadliners who are touring that summer, then a rotating cast of arena acts."
I see people on this board freaking out about Paul McCartney or the Rolling Stones. I couldn't really care less about seeing either - one of those acts atop a typical summer festival lineup does nothing for me, I'd much rather see something like this.

Bands like Nurse With Wound are what kill me when I see these Euro lineups. The kind of bands that aren't probably booking a US tour anytime soon (or ever).

June 13-16th - Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo

August 2-4th - Chicago, IL - Lollapalooza
September 27-29th - Atlanta, GA - TomorrowWorld

Which acts on that lineup aren't that common? The only ones I see are The Knife and Blur, both of whom might be at Coachella as well. I think The Postal Service will be everywhere this summer, Nick Cave just toured across the country, and MBV has been consistently touring the past few years.
Most of the undercard names are names I wouldn't be surprised to see on numerous festival bills this summer.
Oof. Expedia found me a flight and 7 nights in a nice hotel for under $2,000.
Horn, $3,000 for a toe sound fair?
You kidding? I could get a thumb for half that.
Got any spare teeth?
Does it count if they've already been pulled? I have some wisdom teeth floating around somewhere... In my NO NO WORD!!!ged stupor I agreed to take them home.
