What about Wu Tang Clan?
The name Wu Tang derives from Japan or the country of the rising sun, the future was less certain when ODB died, and they put out a song called "solitary confinement" in which you have no human contact. Plus they just collaborated with the black keys so they could pull all that together.

Taj Mahal / The Rising Sons
Rising Son Of Man:
Taj Mahal played with a band called "The Rising Sons"
also
Because his father was a musician, his house was frequently the host of other musicians from the Caribbean, Africa, and the United States. His father, Henry Saint Clair Fredericks Sr., was called "The Genius" by Ella Fitzgerald before starting his family.
The Future was Less Certain:
For some time Mahal thought of pursuing farming over music. He had developed a passion for farming that nearly rivaled his love of music

In 1964 he moved to Santa Monica, California, and formed Rising Sons with fellow blues musician Ry Cooder and Jessie Lee Kincaid, landing a record deal with Columbia Records soon after. The group was one of the first interracial bands of the period, which likely made them commercially unviable.
You don't even need to break it up line by line, because it all makes sense together. Rising Son of Man...Jesus is the Son of Man, also rising because you are rising into the sky. The future was less certain, but now that everybody has been raptured up and Jesus is back, it's pretty set. Human contact is gone. Because you've been raptured up and are no longer on Earth.

I could see this. I would welcome them as well, could be a fun show.

What is it about the clues that brings out the stupid in everyone?
Of all the things that struck me as terrible about this post, #1 is the claim that "Wu Tang derives from Japan." No, it doesn't. It comes from a 1983 kung-fu movie called "Shaolin & Wu-Tang." The movie was filmed in Hong Kong, and the only languages spoken are Mandarin and Cantonese.

My guess is Daft Punk. When i think of the son of man that is rising i instantly think robots which are the creation of man and are more prevalant than ever in our world today. seems future WAS less certain (no tours in years, no new albums) and human contact is gone because they are practically robots, lol. but honestly human contact with them is gone, they never even show their friggin faces in public! fyi haikus totally suck!

I'm really hoping it's Japandroids, not because I especially want to see them, but because it's a fairly straightforward answer to the clue. Maybe they'll actually be solvable this year.
so I am leaning twowrds frank ocean..... but I also was thinking about gorillaz...The rising son of man part gets me but the future is less certain cause they have been on a hiatus...human contact is gone..They play in anime form.. still trying to see if I can find out how the rising son of man is connected

Has anyone guessed Marilyn Manson? The haiku seems to run the theme of Manson's trilogy of Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holywood. Just the first thing that popped into my head when I read it.
The overall arc was about an alien that fell to earth only to rise as a huge rock star. Then after the NO NO WORD!!! and partying he was overwhelmed with a disassociation from humanity. After trying to assimilate himself and conform and once again being rejected, He turned to destroying everything and everyone.

Apocalypse, a Brazillian progressive rock band. Been around a couple of decades and fits Roo's international flavor kick they have been on recently. On second thought, why would they be clue # 1 ? Kinda lame to me. Oh well.
