it could be Japandroids: Rising son of man= japan is the land of the rising son and androids are the son of man in the same way man would be the son of god. Future is less certain I dont have as much for but idk maybe uncertain future with artifiical intelligence or the technological singluarity? If this relates to any songs someone help out. Human contact is gone also deals with the fact that androids arent human
Rising son of man = Lets say the "man" is a king. rising son of a king would be a Prince The future was less certain = had Prince known what 1999 was going to be like, he wouldn't have wanted to party like it was 1999 so much. Human contact is gone = you cant touch Prince.
I have been anxiously waiting on someone to make the Prince guess. :p I didn't want to be the one to bring it up The first and second lines are obvious, but the last line is preventing me from making it fit completely.
(If we need more reinforcement for line one, there is an artist called Prince Gideon who has an album called Son of Man.)

It could be RATM
Rising son of man=They're kind of the product of "The Man" and they're constantly trying to rise up against him.
The Future was less certain=When they were recording new music, maybe they could have wrote something that inspired change. Now that they're not, the future is more likely to lead into the next clue.
Human Contact is Gone=We're going to become apart of a system where we just sleep, eat and work. No socialization ever occurs.
Quite the stretch, i know. I just really hope that Rage is going to be at Roo this year.
"Rising son" referring to New Orleans is a good guess. Remembering hurricane Katrina and the coastal flooding was blamed on global warming might tie it in with "son of man."
"The future was less certain" and "human contact is gone" could also tie it in with global warming and coastal flooding, and movement of the population away from coastal regions.
Any musicians really active in promoting global warming awareness?
I can't decide if Man or Astroman? is big enough to play on Thursday or if they'd be a Lounge band. Obviously Lounge would put them out, but the clue fits them pretty well. Rising son of man= Astroman The future was less certain= the ? at the end of their band name. Are they men or astromen? Human contact is gone= They play themselves off as beings from outer space.
Has Frank Ocean been ruled out? Rising Son of Man- he wears the rising sun flag as a bandana. I don't know what the man part would be. Future Was Less Certain- Odd Future. Duh. And after he came out, Some people doubted his future? Human Contact is Gone- Crack Rock talks about how alone he was?
Asked Japandroids management if they were playing because it would have an affect on if I book my trip to roo (85% true) this was the response I got: "I can't tell you whether Japandroids are playing Bonnaroo or not, but you should just book your trip." to me thats pretty much a confirmation Id think. Also supports my thoery for them as roo clue #1

Clues are the quacking worst. I don't understand why they do them considering the only way to solve them is spending massive amounts of time on inforoo. Even then some Bonnaroo staff member has to pretty much spoon feed us the answer.
